Sunflower Seeds, Vlasic Dill Pickle Flavor, 5.35 oz. (Pack of 12)

I only buy BIGS brand dill seeds. They are quality above the rest. They don’t have a gritty powder coating but are oil treated with the flavor coating. Very smooth and enjoyable. I take them fishing. The rate of empty shells is super low. I had to settle for Spitz brand the other day b/c the store didn’t carry BIGS and the empties were at least 80% and the costing was powdered based. Threw them out b/c they were so bad.

I’ve always found it amusing that despite fighting a lifelong battle of the bulge I’ve always had normal to low blood pressure, great cholesterol, etc. Now in my old age, I have a condition called POTS and my doctors are telling me eat more salt to build blood volume I never really looked at my salt intake, but I definitely keep track of what I’m eating on a free app. When I looked at it, I realized, even though I love salty foods my intake is half of what it should be and the doctors are saying three times what it should be at a minimum is what I need to consume. Absolutely makes me gag to try to get that much salt in me but I found these seeds and at first I thought they were weird and now I can’t live without them. They are 100% addictive and not only do I order on Amazon but every time I’m near a dollar tree I try to grab a case because it’s a smaller bag Which fits in better with my calorie count. The bigger bag is way too many calories and I’m not that disciplined to break it up into 2 1/2 servings or whatever the label says. This brand has a bunch of other flavors so if you like the dill pickle, you might wanna try the others. Most of them I didn’t care for, but that’s just a matter of taste. I have these on subscription so I do get a little bit of a discount, but the normal price is actually lower than major grocery stores even the big W.

If you like dill pickles you will like the taste a little salty but good. It was fresh.

I purchased this brand due to the fact that my order for the Spitz dill pickle flavored sunflower seeds were sent to the wrong address. I was pretty ticked off that they wouldn’t send a replacement so I ordered these instead because they offered Vlasic Dill Pickle flavor and all the reviews I read said they tasted great. They were right. It does taste like Vlasic Dill Pickles that I eat. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they sent me 11 bags instead of 12 like advertised on the Amazon page. To be clear, I read a review from someone who said they only received 11 bags as well but I thought maybe it was a fluke but then I counted mine “twice” and yep there was only 11 bags. There must be someone packaging these at the warehouse who can’t count or must be keeping a bag to themselves from every order so while I think the product is great, I really hate paying for something that I don’t receive. I believe that the reviewer who was also shortchanged had ordered the dill pickle flavor too! I might order another flavor to see if this is a common error. Otherwise I love this flavor and love sunflower seeds as an alternative to munching on high calorie chips.
