Direct to Rust Metal Paint

I have used Hammerite products for many years now. This paint is easy to apply with a brush and the brushstrokes will disappear if you get the thickness of coat correct and use a good brush. I used it to repaint a garden chiminea that had moderate rust on it. It covered the rust very well and has remained good even when left outside 24/7 in the sun and rain. The satin finish is just right.

Great coverage and goes on easy, dries solid and quickly, dries a decent gloss black colour, minimal prep required, however definitely wear gloves unless you need to rust proof your hands as well

Always great stuff to use

Painted my alloy wheels black with this and no scratches etc I can see, so it's lasting well. I can't remember how long ago I bought this but it feels like it has been a couple of years. Though it's a small tin, there was more than enough to cover all 4 wheels and there is probably enough for another coat, possibly two, if I ever need to redo them.

Used on motorbike wheels - pleased with the result.

Used it on my s1000rr frame and it's a 95% match! Can't tell the difference even after close inspection!
