**Q: I have a black fuzzy stuff on my plants will it get rid of it**
A: We had the same problem with Black Beard Algae, which is one of the hardest to get rid of. Especially because algae eaters don't like this. Now we have only a few spots here and there occassionally, but they never get bigger than 1mm, previously they were up to 5cm in length and covered large areas. We have 3 very strong lamps illuminating too.

What I have learned:

1. Water balance - this is where this and other similar products can help. They need a rough substrate or large biological filter to work as well.

2. Healthy living plants - you need enough plants to remove all other food from the water. Give them enough micro-element fertilizers, so they have an upper hand against algae. Grow at least one fast growing variety, which you cut back weekly and remove all excess plant food with this.

3. Algae and waste eaters - against algae the best is to have one Common Bristlenose Catfish (Pleco) aka Ancistrus sp, which is the smallest this kind of fish. This doesn't like Black Beard, but don't avoid this either, if there is any kind of other edible material in it. For other algae and waste you can have Amano shrimps and/or Assassin snails. Assassins will get rid of small unwanted snails as well.

4. Hydrogen peroxide - if you have big bushes of Black Beard, very carefully use pipette underwater to put a drop of food grade H2O2 in the middle of the bush. This reacts with photosynthesising elements of the algae and kills this. Keep fish and other animals (incl snails) in the other end of the tank for a few minutes and dont use too much of it. For 200l tank I have used up to 5ml 10% of H2O2/hydrogen peroxide. It is important to keep lights on and fish as far as possible, as this may burn their gills. This would be good to switch filter off during the treatment, depending of your tank layout. Too much and direct peroxide can kill good bacteria too, if this happens, use this product (or similar product) to replenish the bacteria.

**Q: Does it treat brown algae as well ?**
A: Yes, we have no data to suggest that it doesn't

**Q: Every week my fish tank keeps going green where am i going wrong**
A: Do you clean the inside of the glass on the tank because the envii aquarium klear won't work on its own . I also recommend changing the filters once a month as directed by filter manufacturer . Hope this helps .

**Q: Is this safe to use for my yellow bellied slider terrapins??? It does say all types of aquatic s fine but i didnt want to assume**
A: I have shrimps so only used half of what it said. Tells you on the back instructions.  They are very delicate shrimps so I suppose it would be fine with yours.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works … but

I have used this for 2 months . The pond is a Lot clearer and I can clearly see the bottom of the pond and my prized Sterlet his visible . But , I have followed the instructions and cleaned the filter material twice a week . So whether it’s the medication the regular cleaning of the filter or a combination of the two I can’t say .
