Review: Better than I was expecting - Bought these mainly as UV protection for two standard 1000 litre IBCs used for rainwater storage. Was unsure what to expect from other reviews, so bought one and then bought another once I was happy with it. The covers are a good fit and slide on easily. The top flap is correctly placed for the filling cap, gives good access and the Velcro holds the flap securely closed. The fabric isn’t particularly thick (certainly no thicker than a barbecue cover), but it’s not flimsy either. I’ve only had the covers on the tanks for a couple of months, but they’ve endured a lot of rain and 50mph winds and have been fine. How they will perform in the long term, remains to be seen. The covers have straps so they can be fastened to the tank. The IBCs I bought are on a plastic pallet and the straps are not long enough to go round the pallet base, but not really a problem as they can be extended with wire or string. So far the straps have kept the covers on the tanks.
