It's more than worth the cost..get the best
I could not be more pleased with choosing this specific rollator. I fell, fractured my femur just above my knee replacement. Knowing that I would be at leadt 6 to 8 weeks dependant on a walker, I was not going to cheap out on something that was not a 5 star item.(My opinion) Yes, I do own the standard Medicare approved walker, but I could not see myself suffering anymore than I already have. I would be hunched over doing the lift it, move it, take a step. It is an absolute Godsend. Dual breaking system, large front wheels for ease on mobility over tough terrain (carpet, grass, etc) Seat is very comfortable. It's fully assembled right out of the box. The only downside is that I had to buy a separate cup holder. I have personally not had a need for the tote. My home is a tri-level and I can't use it on the staircases. I can not tell you how many people at the ortho office are jealous of my cool ride. I did put a luggage tag on it.

Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’
Back up tell me what you're gonna do now. I got kind of punked with the first delivery rollator in an open box, and the rollator was stuck in the folded position. My return and replacement rollator request got processed quickly. Only hassle was taping closed the open box for shipping, and waiting in time window for porch pickup by UPS. Return got confirmed to me several days later. Movin’ on. My replacement Nitro Sprint rollator was delivered in a fully sealed box one day after the return pickup and two days after Santa consumed the milk and cookies I left for him under the tree in my home. The Drive bag was better quality and easier to zip compared to the bag that came with the rollator I had returned. It was somewhat stiff to unfold the replacement rollator for the first time, but I've been rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ ever since. Smooth steering requires both hands for precise maneuvering control which is great. Brakes work the way they should, and adjust well. The toe pedals are a little small but nonetheless can help stabilize the rear wheel while I'm pushing down on the handles to raise the front wheels up and over curbs and similar obstacles. All of the rollator adjustment features are effective and relatively easy to use. The seat is comfortable as is sitting on the folding handle. I always follow the extremely important safety warning to NEVER SIT AND ROLL. I'm glad I had also purchased the cup/phone holder accessory. It is real handy to have, and there are several places to attach the holder to the rollator. I like the bright red color of the frame I got. It makes the rollator very noticeable in the pedestrian mode of use. I find the quality of materials and construction to be top-notch, and the functionality of the rollator is superb. The rollator is worthy of the reasonable investment I made to improve my mobility and help prevent falls.

Great Rollator, great support
This is a very good Rollator, love it , built strong giving great support, big front wheels rolls over bumps and cracks. Has a nice seat to rest on. Folds up good for transporting. Be careful when using barefooted back wheels have a way of finding your toes.

Good quality walker.
Feels very sturdy due to the larger wheels. I am enjoying this walker. So nice that assembly is not required. I wish it had come with a cup / phone attachment.

Well built, easy to use, somewhat heavy and brakes need strong hands when needing to sit.
I got this a few weeks ago and I am using it in conjunction with my standard walker without seat. It glides beautifully and I'm able to walk quite fast with it. Like all rollators, one tends to bend forward to use it as the seat gets in the way if you try to walk with the handles by your sides, keeping a straight back, so I'll not be using it for a while after my back surgery. The seat is comfortable and the backrest good. It is somewhat heavy to lift into the back of the minivan, but I am fairly strong. The brakes are good, but, as another reviewer pointed out, to use this rollator while seated, you need to push the brake lever right down, and it's pretty hard to pull back up again, even for me who's fairly strong and able. the attached bag is very useful, the seat provides a shelf for my bag while walking, and even to put things when shopping. I've yet to travel on a plane with it, I can see that will be a slight problem with it being throw around and damaged by the rigors of baggage handling. Otherwise I like the fact that it rolls like a Rolls Royce, brakes well, is easy to use, comfortable to sit on.

Strong and well designed. Arrived quickly. Not light.
This is my wife's first of two walkers in addition to the aluminum two wheel walker from the hospital. She has severe arthritis and injuries to her feet, so she uses her walker for more than just balance, she leans on her walker when she walks. We have a modest home so this walker is quite a bit larger than the aluminum one, so navigating this walker for her was challenging at first. She thought it was too big. So, eventually I bought a different brand walker with four equal size wheels. It turns out, we don't like the other brand for reasons we didn't consider before owning a walker. The larger front tires and wheels of the Nitro are easier to steer and navigate both indoors and outdoors. The off set front wheels of the Nitro makes it earlier to steer and the brakes function reasonably. Also the Nitro has a smaller footprint and takes up less physical space opened or closed ( consider if you go to restaurants). The Nitro is also much easier to fold and unfold. Just pull up on the handle on the seat. They both weigh about 20 pounds and claim they are light weight. But my opinion is 20 pounds is pretty heavy for a handicapped woman who only weighs 95 pounds. I'm not young either and her caregiver so an important consideration is how easy this item is to carry or get into and out of a small car or (in my case behind the front seat of my pickup truck). The Nitro is a slightly smaller of the two and easier to handle because it clips and stays closed. Carrying this up and down steps is hard if you're old. Something I didn't consider at the time I made this purchase. The doors in our house are 30 inches. The walker goes thru but it's a little tight if you're turning. However, the bathroom doors are only 24 inches. The walker cannot go through that door opening in the opened position. A pet peeve of the other brand's walker. The Nitro wheels are silver. The other brand wheels are black and has a wider stance. So, against dark carpet I am tripping and kicking the wheels of the other brand in my bare feet frequently and painfully. I never kick or trip on the Nitro tires.

Works for men and women, big and small!
I got this Nitro rollator today for myself and my father to use. I have RA, POTs, and neuropathy and my dad having back and hernia surgeries over the next few months. I LOVE that it comes fully assembled with the instructions inside the included bag 🙌 We tested it indoors and outdoors and it performed smoothly over all surfaces. The adjustable handles have an easy-to-push button on either side, which is very user friendly. The seat height and width are perfect for myself (5’5” female, 138 lbs) and my dad (6’0” male, 255 lbs). The back strap adjusts up and down, if needed. The seat has some nice padding (which you can’t tell from the pictures) and is actually very comfortable to sit in! It’s super easy to fold and I love how it just “clicks” together without any straps or hooks. This also makes it easy to store because it stands straight up and still rolls. The only downside to this model, the breaks are a little tough to shift all the way down and back up to release but I love the ability to adjust them. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again!

Great walker - a little shorter than previous model
My husband has used the Drive Nitro walker tall walker for at least 5-6 years. He prefers it to the walker he originately got from medicare (we use it as a back up now). The only problem we have had is that the brakes wear out and they are so difficult to replace that we have had to get a new walker about every 3 years. The brakes of the old walker gave out yesterday and when our son-in-law tightened them a bit (like he has done before when the gave out), the brake wire broke. We ordered this newer version of the Nitro and we are very hopeful the newer brake configuration will last longer. We decided to order the newer version in blue. My husband likes it - he said the walker feels solid, is easy to maneuver and the new break+handle configuration seem good. I like that it is still light and the way it folds and stays folded when I put it in the car He has only two issues with this new walker. There are 2 curb assist pads on the inside of the frame by the back wheels taking up room for his size 14 feet - the previous version had only one and he had to be careful because did get scratched because of that placement when he got in and out of the car (he has no feeling in his feet because of diabetes). He is concerned because there are now two - and frankly he doesn't see what use they are since to use them he has to try to balance on one foot to push on it to raise the front of the walker and that is a dangerous maneuver for him. The other reason that I took a star off is that the top handles of this version of the tall Nitro walker are about 1.5" shorter when FULLY extended than the previous (red tall Nitro) walker. We raised the handles as far as they could go and stood this walker next to the old one and there is a noticable height difference. Even though this walker is also considered tall, the difference could be and issue if anyone needs the extra height. My husband is 6'3" and even though he noticed the difference in height immediately he feels he can adapt.

Very good
Bigger wheels are good, the two stage brake system is especially useful going downhill.
