I buy some version of pond blue every year to combat vegetation in my small pond. I think this will be my go-to brand now, as it seems to be much more concentrated than other brands I've tried. It's been in there for a couple of months through some horrendous rain and still looks great.

It effectively darkened the water in my pond. After a few days I can see the plant life diminish.

I have used this product before as it doesn’t hurt the fish in my ponds, I actually have 2 ponds. I usually put it in the ponds 2 or 3 times a year as it helps control the pond scum. It does change the color of the water to a dark blue. As always prime shipping is the way to go as I know when I place an order that it will be delivered on time.

Tried a number of mfg products, this one seems to work the best although it is more $$$. Our 1 acre pond takes initially three and in mid August one more.

Does a fair job at keeping algae and vegetation in control. If you're expecting pond dye to eliminate growth, you'll be disappointed.

We have a small pond (~1/4 acre) and have tried several pond dyes to help combat the algae growth. This color is definitely the best so far. Highly recommend. An even nicer aspect is I can get 4 or 5 treatments from a one gallon container and the price is very reasonable. Just remember a little goes a long way and be patient.

Blue black mix creates a nice dark blue color that has a reflective quality. I've used aqua color dye and it looked fake. This color gives the pond a more natural feel.
