## Description

The ESP32-S3 is an entry-level development board equipped with either ESP32-S3, a general-purpose Wi-Fi + BLE MCU module that integrates complete Wi-Fi and BLE functions.Most of the I/O pins on the module are broken out to the pin headers on both sides of this board for easy interfacing. Developers can either connect peripherals with jumper wires or mount ESP32-S3 on a breadboard. Power Supply Options There are three mutually exclusive ways to provide power to the board: USB-to-UART Port and ESP32-S3 USB Port (either one or both), default power supply (recommended) 5V and G (GND) pins 3V3 and G (GND) pins

Review: Great (Cheap) ESP32-S3 Development Board! - Everything works exactly the same on this board as the Espressif official development board, at half the price! The pinouts of these two boards are also the same, however this board (Teyeten Robot) has a 0.1" wider pins stance than the official board, or one hole wider on a breadboard. The only issues that I ran into was the need to download the CH341SER drivers to allow Arduino IDE / PlatformIO / ESP IDF to communicate to the board via Serial USB. Other than that, everything was a breeze to set up and use. The onboard JTAG USB debugging is a life saver and is much easier than having to use a dedicated ESP-PROG debugging tool. Overall, great product that I would highly recommend! All 6 boards that I have used and tested were perfect. Looking forward to getting more development boards in the future from this company... you just can't beat their pricing.

**Q: Width in tech details is wider than the official espressif esp32-s3 devkitc-1. in a standard breadboard is a row of holes available on each side?**
A: I haven’t gotten to do too much with mine yet, but yes it is a bit wide, however for the amount of available pins and 2 USB C ports one of which for UART this is a great configuration. 

In a standard 10(5x2) column breadboard a-e & f-j this is 9 columns wide, so you would only have 1 row available on a single side. Solutions online seem to be to get an oversized breadboard with multiple smaller breadboards attached together with a single bus bar between them. Or to take a second breadboard, remove the bus bar from one side and put them next to each other and have the pins from the ESP-32 in 2 breadboards next to one another. Or for a really hack way split the breadboard down the middle and separate the 2) 5pin halves and you can adjust the number column of pins you need.

**Q: Is the Vin on 5v or is there a range like 5v-12v that it can take?**
A: 5V operation, too much voltage may burn the module

**Q: What do the IN-OUT and USB-OTG solder pads do?  When should i bridge these pads?**
A: IN solder pads is for 5vin port,default is to do external power supply input after shorting and output keep 5V,USB is the type-c port on the left side of the module,The default is to press the boot button to display the serial port,After shorting, it will display the serial port after normal power on.

**Q: Can you please point me to a pinout of this specific device ?  info in which gpio's are attached to onboard leds and buttons appreciated too.**

Everything works exactly the same on this board as the Espressif official development board, at half the price! The pinouts of these two boards are also the same, however this board (Teyeten Robot) has a 0.1" wider pins stance than the official board, or one hole wider on a breadboard. The only issues that I ran into was the need to download the CH341SER drivers to allow Arduino IDE / PlatformIO / ESP IDF to communicate to the board via Serial USB. Other than that, everything was a breeze to set up and use. The onboard JTAG USB debugging is a life saver and is much easier than having to use a dedicated ESP-PROG debugging tool. I wish all smart home everything was ESP32. These board worked well, but they did have some pins in different locations from other ESP32 boards I have used.
