Im not sure but well worth the money! Me and my daughter had loads of fun with it, until we started running it off the roof! About 15 foot dropped, she did well until we finally broke a wheel off. But it was well worth it, does great on smooth surfaces.

Can the charging cable be purchased separately?

This should work, also give you a 2nd battery that you can use while one is charging. https://www.amazon.com/DEERC-Original-Rechargeable-1200mAh-Charging/dp/B08BP4ZYDF

Is it possible to buy a separate remote controller? My son lost his controller.

Yes, you can. Just send email with Amazon order number to the seller through the DEERC website.
