Her solution-become a rock legend so cool that people approach her instead! However, while spending all of middle school in her closet shredding on the guitar may have earned her anonymous internet fame, it did nothing for her social skills. Now a high schooler, Hitori’s feeling ready to shrivel up and die-when she gets a sudden request to fill in for a band! It’s like her wish came true-but does this most anxious of introverts have what it takes to perform in front of a live audience?! Review: Horrible packaging by desertcart leads to damage, but good series itself. - I love bochii the rock, dont get me wrong. However desertcarts packaging sucks and most of the books (I ordered all of them) came with damage. Im giving this a five star to support the author as packaging isnt their fault but be aware of desertcarts lack of any protection for books they ship. Id recommend getting it elsewhere if you can. Review: I liked it. - Other dude is tripping, the book is on the bigger side when it comes to manga so I didn’t find an issue with the text size. as for the story it’s only fault is how good the anime is in comparison. it being a music story, the anime has the benefit of actually being able to show the music, along side it’s amazing animation. Each character is unique its in own way and its a story that will be at times painfully relatable to introverted musicians. It is a very enjoyable story, the cast is very likable and have clear goals past just working at starry (a live music house not a cafe). The characters will go through clear character development, specially in our main character hitomi. at the the start she is unable to even talk to others, but by the end she is one step closer to playing infront of crowds without having anxiety attacks, made her first real friends, and was finally was able to slowly improve at her new job, a job which requires her to constantly interact with strangers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #58,024 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #1,747 in Manga Comics & Graphic Novels | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 449 Reviews | ## Images ![Bocchi the Rock!, Vol. 1 (Volume 1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81DubR7340L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Horrible packaging by amazon leads to damage, but good series itself. *by C***C on July 31, 2026* I love bochii the rock, dont get me wrong.
