Coolzy-Pro Portable Air Conditioner

I will be traveling around the US this summer with my travel trailer. I really was not excited about having to stay in campgrounds every night just so I could have air-conditioning. I bought this unit and it was delivered today. So I decided to test it this afternoon in my office and I’m here to tell you this thing is legit! I have ran it off of my Jackery power station all afternoon, and actually had to turn it off because I got cold. And I was using lowest setting. And 3 hours only consumed maybe 20%. That means it should run all night easily from the power station. Let me repeat this. My AC will run on a power station all night. One other point to mention. There is an adjustable nozzle inside the unit I didn’t even have that open and it still got cold. Once I opened it, a lot more air came out. I believe this will definitely work in my camper and save me a lot of money because I will not have to pay for campgrounds. For those of you who have left negative reviews of this product, the only thing I can think of is that you were expecting this to be a whole room air conditioner. It is not a whole room air conditioner, but it will cool down the area that you are in.

I tried this unit after reading the mixed reviews, and staying optimistic. I work in a booth approx. 8'x8' with 3 sides of bullet proof windows. I had to bend over in my seat to be inches away from the vent just to feel cooled air on my upper body. Take note, this is not a room A/C unit. I had the thermostat sitting on that small ledge underneath it in the pic. There you can see how close I'm already sitting to the unit, and still had to lean forward. For me, this A/C was useless. Actually a waste of money. Donation to the shipping companies is what I achieved. Maybe if your area doesn't get that warm, and you invest in the attachments to vent the hot exhaust air out, it might be something for someone. Basically, if you've read this far, that's all the time I advise you spend on this unit. I hope I've saved someone time and money.

This little A/C is the best but it cools YOU and NOT the room as it states. I use it near my bed toward my upper body and leave it on all night and I sleep like a baby in the summertime. It's quiet on the low setting and blows enough cool air to make you feel comfortable while sleeping. I angle the back toward an open door to dispel the warm air but really the warm air does not keep me from feeling the cool air blowing toward me. I wanted a unit that I didn't have to vent out a window and this really does the trick.

I bought this expensive air conditioner trying to cool myself in a room that gets very hot in the summer. I understood that it was a spot cooler so positioned it very near to where I sleep and pointed it right at me. I have no window or door to vent a traditional portable ac so this seemed perfect, except it’s not. I left it on one night to cool me while I slept and it vents massive amounts of hot air out the back, a very poor design. During the night that heated up the entire large room up to a very uncomfortable temperature. The cool air coming out the front was not sufficient to overcome the heat it was dissipating so I ended up having to turn it off and slept in another room. I eventually solved my problem by installing a duct booster fan which was 6 times cheaper and does the job beautifully. This is a very poor design and just plain doesn’t work as advertised.

The Coolzy is great - it blows cold air as far as 8 ft and you can adjust the airflow direction and strength. It was fairly easy to attach the tail. Would recommend Coolzy provide a video for attaching the long tail as the enclosed diagram isn’t detailed enough. The negative reviews are not justified at all unless the instructions were not read and followed.

This product was super hyped on various social media only to find that when it arrived, it doesn't work at all. They make it sound like it's the best thing ever but when I removed the securing tape, plug in and wait for it to start cooling, all I can hear is an attempt of the compressor, but no fans blowing. The red light lit up the overheating indicator within a few minutes. I unplug, waited a few hours to let it cool down, tried again, same thing. This product is an utter waste of money and time. Avoid it unless you want to stay hot while you're busying being disappointed. REVISION: To make matters worse, these folks are requiring me to purchase an oversized box to return two items as one, but I received these as 2 separate boxes and so they are just going to add insult to all this. Infuriating.

I love that I can keep my bed air conditioned without having to cool the whole house. For a low power portable AC I haven’t found a better product. I use this with a Leedor bed tent until the Coolzy ones come to USA. Uses about 300 watts after the surge. All in all - ice cold refrigerated air for little power, it’s a win win for me. I hope this unit lasts. Thank you Nigel for handing my previous product concern. Works great in the camper too! Nice for just a single bunk on a night when it’s a bit to warm or a day when it’s too warm for doggo but I’m still comfy. 1 year update: 2 units have failed. One noisy, one with a bad blower. THEN The fact that the Coolzy is almost $400 after tax and delivery and doesn’t come with a tail , and that tail… costs only $30 less than an entire brand new window ac is INSANITY. Get it together people. Not to mention my Coolzy has been the most unreliable AC I have owned. Great staff when you can reach them but other than that I can’t personally recommend this anymore. 2025 update: the third replacement unit functions 100% correct. Maybe they had some issues with the initial models that were released in the United States. There’s definitely creative ways to use this product, especially if you are Boondocking or in areas where you don’t want your windows open like overnight at a truckstop. Use is 1/3 of the energy as my big air conditioning and it keeps us comfortable. Definitely not for big spaces, but if you get creative, it can do the job and do it well. Looked at other brands but this is half the price and the people who work here are good. Here’s to another year of living the eco life.

DO NOT BUY THE LONG TAIL HOSE EXTENSION IT WILL LEAK HOT AIR INTO YOUR HOUSE IT IS SHODDY. THE PIECES ARE FRAGILE AND DON'T SEAL PROPERLY. THIS WAS MADE BY AMATEURS. COOLZY SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR EVEN SELLING THAT PIECE OF CRAP HOSE EXTENSION. $75 EXTRA FOR A PIECE OF CRAP HOSE AND WINDOW KIT. DISGUSTING.
