MX-12 Desk Calculator 12-digit Display

I bought this for my 8-year old grandson. He loved it and it is never far away from him! He loves maths and the calculator gives him the opportunity to create all kinds of sums. The size of the buttons is just right for him. The clear display is also a good size. For a basic calculator it is ideal as a first calculator.

I had a smaller, 'light poered' Casio for about 30 years so another was a no-brainer. Its size makes it easy to read and use , although the '00' button gets in the way more than it helps

Just what I wanted in this small desktop calculator. All the functions needed, and a back key for the last character. So if you make mistake, you can eliminate the number, rather than start again. What makes it stand out from the rest, is that instead of the base following the shape of the LCD display, it’s flat, which makes easier to use, in some circumstances. It lays flat on the table.

Good, reliable calculator. Pretty standard but exactly what I needed, as I can’t use a scientific calculator for my accounting exams. It works perfectly without any unnecessary extras, which I actually really like — just straightforward and easy to use. The size is great for leaving on my desk, so I can quickly grab it when needed. One thing to note is that there’s no off button, so it stays on constantly. I’m not sure how this will affect the battery life in the long run, but so far it’s been working really well.

I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a very basic calculator, but the numbers are very clear and well-spaced, making it easy to use. I recommend it.

The keyboard has a double zero key which gets in the way. I am always hitting the double zero key when I want to hit the zero key. It's very irritating.
