This thing is currently operating the water level in a Industrial Hot water Parts Washing machine. Water temps are 180 F. It is constanly having to fill. BUT as the directions explain, you need to use a relay to drive the water solenoid. I found one solenoid that is used for Ice Makers that is lower than 20 Va. Review: Unpredictable - Some times doesn’t work. Got 2 and both do the same. Makes me worried I won’t be there and it over flows

Perfect for my application
Very easy to change from normally closed to normally open. It is delivered normally closed with float up with wires up. Pop the lower c clip off, remove and flip the float 180 deg, put clip back on and you’ve reversed the action. I wired it in series with control side of a relay to wait for a reservoir to fill before activating a heater. Working great immersed in 60 C hot water.

Good S.S. construction. The float electrical contacts open during high level and close on low level. This needs to be noted in description.

works well in my off grid garden
I use it to stop the pump when the water towner is full in my off grid garden. I have it run through a relay to start and stop the pump. Works very well.

Wrong size description
The description is in INCHES but the device is in CENTIMETERS. Well made but not for a sump pump.

Works well, and easy to reverse
I needed it to make contact on float, and it was really easy to switch.

Make sure you buy a relay to go with it.
The float switch doesn't have much load rating.
