Logitech M325 Wireless Mouse, 2.4 GHz with USB Unifying Receiver, 1000 DPI Optical Tracking, 18-Month Life Battery, PC / Mac / Laptop - Light Silver Grey

I bought this to replace my previous Logitech mouse which had survived 15 years of heavy use. It works well using the unifying receiver which I have now set up with a new keyboard so only using one USB port. It connected straight away without any problems and is easy to customize using the downloaded software. I find the small compact size comfortable to hold and it can be controlled with a light touch.

I've always liked Logitech's computer mice and have had a number over the years. I bought the M325 to go with a new laptop and liked the mini transmitter that can easily be left in a USB port of the computer without fouling a slipcase or briefcase. Alternatively, the transmitter can be stored in the base of the mouse itself. The buttons and scroll-wheel work well and the whole thing is well thought out compact and easy to use. For me it's best buy!

What a lovely little mouse - and I mean little. It's smaller than I anticipated even though the dimensions were obviously in the product page. Having said said, it's great - it's got a nice feel and doesn't feel cheap. The scroll wheel is very smooth and skims effortlessly through long documents or web pages. No problems with the buttons either, good feel to them. Absolutely no problems in getting it working either. The unifying receiver just plugged in and worked instantly. I already had the Logitech SetPoint software installed as this was replacing a wired Logitech mouse. But there the one real bugbear with it has hit me. I used to have the middle button set to minimise the active window when clicked. The option is no longer there! I can only minimise all! Why do I want that! I will have to investigate further with this one, but it's not really a deal breaker, more an inconvenience! The mouse is great, I suspect it's the software not having the options with this mouse. Will see!

Great for laptop users Battery life is amazing (or at least it claims to be, time will tell) USB transmitter stays in your laptop or PC permanently (very very small) Uses the logitech Unifying technology (so same transmitter works with other stuff like wireless keyboards). It is a smallish mouse (you either like small mice or you don't, that's a preference thing) FYI - I have another older logitec mouse in another laptop which takes a pounding as it travels a lot and the USB transmitter failed. Logictech support replaced it without question after I logged a support ticket on their website.

this is a nice little mouse - although can't say I'll be using it. when they say designed for scrolling they really do mean designed for scrolling. at first I thought it was nice - then came the task of opening some results in google. now normally, if you're going to open multiple tabs then you use the scroll wheel button, right? not for this mouse. it's so sensitive that the slightest touch moves the page, so you miss the link. you move your mouse back up to retry and the page will move again. problems are that there is absolutley no resistance in the wheel at all - this in turn makes it far too over sensitive. the slightest touch (and I do mean slightest) makes you scroll. whereas on a normal mouse you have notches to stop you scrolling unintentionally and give some feedback, the M325 has no such thing. just a little test in Excel - using my previous mouse and doing a quick finger-flick on the wheel moves approximately 106 lines. Same test on the M325: approx 170 lines. if you don't use any precision and just spin the wheel you can scroll into the 400-500 range. I'll also note that I have the horizontal drift problem a previous reviewer mentioned. to be honest if I hadn't already binned the packaging I'd probably return it.

If you don't mind that it is a little smaller than average, you will gain incredible battery life and amazing toughness (I am forever dropping this on my wood floor. can't believe it still works), It also work on most surfaces, which my cheaper mouse does not. Best of all is the dongle, tiny and also allows up to seven other compatible logitech devices to be used with just this one usb port. You have to link them to the specific dongle using some software, so they do not intefere with other mice you may have. (I use a keyboard with it too). Sadly there is no way of switching easily between PC's, so you need to move the active dongle if you want to use your mouse/keyboard on more that one machine. which is not a criticism. I have bought 4 mice and 2 keyboards so far, so I think my recommendation is pretty valid.

Good mouse but battery mechanism suddenly failed after ten month' use. Having to replace item after ten months!!!

Other reviews have complained that this mouse has a too sensitive wheel.. I agree that it is sensitive but I like it. I've had other mice where the wheel is hard work. Maybe if you have bricklayer's hands then you might complain as the mouse is also rather small. The USB plug is tiny unlike some wireless mice where its a couple of inches long and begs to be bent and damaged. Others have complained that this mouse is sensitive to the surface it's used on. I haven't found that to be problem.. It works on my leg, on the arm of the sofa, the coffee table - what's not to like? Probably no good for gaming or for detailed work in graphics but then who'd expect it to be at the price. All in all I'm satisfied with the product.

This is a mouse. It does mouse things. It does them according to the specifications. It does them all wirelessly. Imagine that! A wireless mouse doing wireless mouse things! 😱

Love them; nothing fancy, but does the job and feels good in the hand. Smaller size easier to travel with. We have them for all our laptops and many PCs. Only downside; occasionally they get left behind, thus this reorder.

Works great - like the compact quality of Logitech mice. This was replacement of prior loved same product after years of use.
