I grill outside about five times a week, year round and all my grills last around two years or so, so I will fill you in on that two years from now. The grill was packaged amazingly well. No damaged parts in shipping despite rough handling and being left out in the rain by UPS. Assembly incredibly simple considering all the parts. Most screws installed at the factory where they belong. Just loosen the screw a few turns slide attaching part over screw and tighten. No looking for screw holes while trying to hold two parts together at the same time. Took me about an hour. Everything worked on startup. The only problem is lighting the burners. The printed instructions on the grill front are wrong. They say to push and turn burner knobs slowly and burner will light immediately. WRONG! The grill has the standard battery powered igniter. Push and turn burner knob to max and press igniter button till burner ignites.

This is a very nice grill! However, you need to be fairly proficient with assembly. It only takes a Phillips screwdriver, but there is a lot to assemble. There is one part of the assembly that should have been done early on. That was the towel and utensil holder. Not a big thing, but having to install that after everything else is together was very difficult indeed. It needs to be done before installing the right side burner. Another thing, or 2, was the windbreak for the sear burner. It was not well, or easily found. The other thing, was the ignition button. You have to install a battery in the button for it to work. I scoured the assembly instructions, just to find it in a location that was very difficult to find. The quality of the grill is very nice! Almost all stainless steel. Should not rust away like other cheap ones do within this price range. I bought the blue one, and it really is beautiful. It really pops on my patio. Overall, I hope it works well and lasts more than 3 or 4 years.

Delivery was good, no damage, smooth/easy assembly. I’m a big Weber Grill fan, however it seems their newer grills aren’t as solid and are overpriced. Monument offers a reasonably priced alternative at a great price point. The grill heated up quick, cooked my food evenly, and the searing station is a bonus. I’m glad I pulled the trigger and went with Monument, very pleased customer. Thanks.

Well, first off, if Amazon drops the *enormously* heavy box off in front of your house, you’re going to have to completely deconstruct the packaging so that you can actually get the grill components into your yard or home. Note: there are several packages inside of the fire box, so cut the straps and open this up before you attempt to move it. The difficult part of the build is getting the propane hoses into place, particularly on the left side, where it has to bend at a completely unnatural angle to accommodate the burner and connect to the knob (my knob wound up crooked after several tries, but I finally got it to be somewhat straight in the end). Be very, very careful with the screws because if you lose one - as I did, when it fell between the boards on my deck - you’ll have to go to a hardware store and attempt to find a replacement. Put a towel or tarp around your work area so that fallen screws don’t go missing. When I finally finished the construction of the grill, I did notice that the two side burners were slightly canted downwards, which is somewhat unattractive. I’ve gone through the instructions and they’re built exactly as the instructions require. It’s just the way it is (although not on their photographs) - same for a friend who bought this same model. My blue model is pretty attractive, and the burners light up beautifully (some people don’t seem to understand that you must hold the ignition button while turning the knobs - the printed language on the front of the grill does *not* make this clear). And, boy, does it heat up quickly. A plus, in my mind. Do NOT touch the glass window for any reason when the grill is on and the cover is closed, because it’s conducting all of that heat. You *will* be burned. I accidentally did this and wound up putting my hand in an ice bath to prevent blistering. As for grilling, everything cooks evenly and well - and the grates are fairly easy to clean if you use top heat with the grill closed to turn any bits of food to ash. Easy to scrub with a wire brush after it’s cooled down. The build quality seems to be equal to many top brands, and I very much like the matte finish of the blue panels. One thing I wish it had is a propane tank weight, as the Weber does (maybe that’s patented?), so that you know how much propane is left in the tank. Anyway, the grill works very well and looks great. The price is far below Weber pricing for a similar model, so if I wind up not liking it in a couple of years, I can go with something else.

This grill has done everything I have asked of it and more. The searer works great for searing Ahi Tuna and steak. In fact my steaks have become legendary in our neighborhood and I get asked how I prepare them many times. I owe that to know how to use the seater. Works better than expected. People love the blue color I picked out as well.

We really love this grill. I assembled this grill alone and didn't have much trouble with putting it together. The build quality is excellent. The cooking area is very large and I could likely get 8 large pork steaks on this grill. The color was a nice change from the all black and stainless models. Would buy it again.

Very well built. Only took me an hour to assemble. Have used it a couple times now and I love it.
