Copper or black finish?** A: Mine is copper very elegant **Q: How do you clean the water bowl as it’s attached to the pole?** A: Hi, You can take the bird feed station apart if you need remove the water bowl to clean it **Q: Thanks keith for your reply,can you tell me does the four fins go completely into the ground.?** A: Its a ground spike, so yes you need to push it into ground if siting in the earth. If using a patio mount, then detach it ground spoke and place in that instead . I used a spade to push into earth , then sited **Q: Can you leave the water tray and seed/mesh tray off when screwing the poles together? I want to avoid seagulls and larger birds landing on them ?** A: Yes. You don't have to use them. I might actually remove the water tray on mine because it makes a mess of the mesh tray when I clean it with a dish brush and watering can to remove the algae. I have a large bird bath about 2 m away. We spent more than normal in the hope that this one would last a lot longer than the cheaper ones.Due to the quality/diameter of the poles we think that it probably will.
