Some people don't like splashes and prefer balms; others prefer splashes and not balms. If you happen to like both, I'd recommend doing what I do: buy and use both! After shaving you can apply the splash and then the soothing balm for moisturizing and hydrating your face. The allantoin and panthenol ingredients will help soothe and get any redness out.
