I wanted something fun and colorful that essentially could go with whatever I wear as well as support my feet. These are just the ticket! I have high arches and they support my feet during workouts and long days standing. Cushy some but lightweight compared to other “work out” shoes that I have loved in the past. I have had more compliments in these shoes than any other kicks I have owned. My boyfriend hates them and ai laugh every time someone new tells me they want a pair! Mine might be loud in the sense of different shapes and colors, his are neon and just as loud as mine but single color. I searched many brands and styles and am thankful that I got these! I will definitely grab another pair of fun and comfortable Brooks again!!

The best shoes I own for running and overall comfort

I bought these as my first running shoe, didn't really know what I was looking for but after about 2.5 years I'm finally buying new shoes and I can say these were a great pick. I am a size 10.5 and they were a little snug, but I figured that was normal for running shoes. I had no issues for most of their life, but lately they have given me some blisters on the inner sides of both feet. Maybe if I went up to an 11 it would go away, but looks like this is discontinued.

I bought these as my second pair of Brooks shoes. I love the color and shoe is comfortable. Unfortunately, my first pair of Brooks is the Ghost 15 which is superior in every way and for the price difference they should be. I'm not a runner, I just walk a lot in both models. The Trace has a more snug fit and feel but the Ghost has more miles on them so it may be normal stretching of the material. Both are good for me but the Trace is less expensive.

Looks great. Clean, appropriate for casual outfits, running, or the gym. I bought this shoe after wearing 4 different pairs of Brooks Ghosts after the last few years. Those have more cushion and feel sturdier than the Trace, but they also have a price point that reflects additional comfort features. This shoe is currently in rotation for me for running and strength training. It is not designed to be a weightlifting shoe, but I find it comfortable for all gym activities except squats... because it's a running shoe, so it isn't supposed to work for squats. I've only put about 20 miles on the shoes as far as running is concerned in the 10ish days I've had them. Those first miles are usually the toughest on my feet, but I've noticed no blistering or discomfort in any way. They do seem a little more narrow than the Brooks Ghosts I'm used to, but there is plenty of room in the toe box and I am considering buying these in a second color.
