Too sheer - Not pigmented or opaque enough
This comes in a nice outer product box. It’s made in the USA. It’s cruelty free (PETA certified), vegan, and free of gluten, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and talc. It also claims to be a “clean” brand. It comes in a nice simple plastic tube with a clear bottom and white top. It has a standard doe foot applicator. It’s a nice size that fits the eyes well.I mainly wanted this as an eyeshadow primer. My eyelids always look kind of red and they have veins showing, so I like my eyeshadow primer to have opaque color to cancel that out. I need an eyeshadow primer light enough for my very fair skin. I also can get pretty dry eyelids. They don’t really feel dry when I don’t have anything on them. But, a lot of eye primers I’ve tried, when I apply them my lids look extremely dry and I don’t like it. There’s only been a couple I’ve found that don’t do that, so I’m always on the lookout for another. This has silicones as the main ingredients (2nd, 4th, 5th). It has aloe leaf juice, which is soothing and moisturizing. It also has panthenol, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate - all of which are moisturizing. It has caffeine, which is known to improve micro circulation of blood vessels, which is helpful for dark circles and puffy eyes. This has a thin consistency. Having 3 silicones at the top of the ingredient list, I wasn’t surprised it had a smooth, silky, slippery feel to it. Unfortunately, it isn’t as opaque as I wanted, so it didn’t cancel out what I wanted it to. It reduced the redness on my lids, but didn’t cancel out the veins. I got the shade “Lace,” which was the lightest shade and described as “fair, neutral beige.” In product photos, it looked like it had a peachy, orange kind of tone. On me, it looked way too warm. I have neutral leaning slightly cool skin. The next shade up, “Organza” was described as “Light pearlescent pink.” It looked like it would be far too dark for my fair skin and I didn’t want “pearlescent,” I wanted matte. So, I chose “Lace.” Unfortunately, the shade kind of ends up being a miss for me, kind of seems like it would be like Mac Paint Pots for me - Soft Ochre is too yellow toned for me and Painterly is slightly too dark for me. But, this isn’t as pigmented and opaque as Mac Paint Pots are.It applies nicely. It felt hydrating, but not too hydrating. But, once I applied it, it had a slightly tacky feel. I tried applying my eyeshadow directly on it (without setting it with a translucent powder) and it was patchy and hard to blend. The next time, I let it sit for about a minute, then applied eyeshadow. That time it applied easier and didn’t look patchy. But, my lids also looked dry. It didn’t help my eyeshadow look any more pigmented or last any longer than it would using just concealer on my lids. So, unfortunately, as an eyeshadow primer this was a miss for me.I decided to try it out as an Undereye primer/color corrector. I get some darkness in my inner corners but other than that my under eyes tend to be red and dark red. Because of that, the best color I’ve found for color correcting my under eyes is a minty green. But, very pale pinks and peaches can work as well. This wasn’t really pigmented enough to cancel anything out. My concealer did apply nice and smoothly over it. Though, it didn’t seem to make enough difference for me to go through the extra step of applying it.Overall, this just isn’t for me. It might work better for someone who doesn’t have a lot of issues with eye primers making their eyes look dry and doesn’t need something opaque to cover up much on their lids or who wants to use it under their eyes and doesn’t need something too pigmented and opaque to cancel out darkness. I give it 2 stars. If it had more pigment and was more opaque, it would work as a color corrector. But, it’s too sheer to really cancel out anything.FULL INGREDIENT LISTIsododecane, Dimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclomethicone, Mica, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Tapioca Starch, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Magnesium Stearate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Propylene Carbonate, Aqua/Water/Eau, Aluminum Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbitan Olivate, Synthetic Beeswax, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polysorbate 60, Cetearyl Alcohol, Caffeine, Panthenol, Glycerin, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate. Moisturizing, Silky, & Blends/Covers Nicely
Admittedly, I don't wear a ton of makeup. I usually wear some pencil eyeliner and 2- 3 earth tone eyeshadows that I blend. I got this to use as a base on my eyelids and hood of my eyes. This applies easily and blends nicely. I wasn't expecting it to feel silky when I was blending it with my finger. It offered a decent coverage on my eyelid skin and worked well as a background to my eyeshadow. I found that my pencil eyeliner glided on more smoothly too than when I normally line it on my bare skin. I then just used 2 soft earth tone shades of eyeshadow and blended them and slapped on some mascara. I know, I know... I have a pathetic makeup regiment, but that's fine for me. It kept my natural appearance just fine.

This product is amazing! You need it!
I am so picky when it comes to concealers as I have normal to dry skin snd a concealer that is hydrating and blends nicely on the skin is a must. This eye base/concealer is amazing and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a medium coverage concealer and prefer a hydrating natural finish look rather than matte and dry. You can easily apply any setting powder after the fact and set it in place without looking cakey.

Great Primer!
I recently tried the Glo Skin Beauty Essential Eye Base in the shade Lace and I am blown away by its performance. This 3-in-1 product acts as an eyelid tint, primer, and color corrector all in one and it does not disappoint. The shade Lace is a perfect match for my skin tone and it enhances the look of my eyes. The product is long-lasting and it keeps my eye makeup in place all day. I love that it is vegan and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Overall, I am extremely impressed and I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a versatile and effective eye base.

Not Very Pigmented
I have very pale, pretty much translucent skin and am always on the lookout for a good concealing eye primer to cover all the little veins in my eyelid. This one didn't work well for me personally, and it just wasn't very pigmented overall. I picked up the lightest shade, Lace. It looked promising when applied but sheered out to almost nothing when blended. I could still see about as many veins as if I was wearing nothing. The texture of this is light and creamy, very emollient. It does blend well and leaves a sort of dewy finish. Product application was fine, I felt everything blended out nicely on top of it, but it didn't hold up. Those with dry eyelids may like this. It didn't work for my oilier skin, though my eyelids aren't oily, I experienced minor creasing with this only a few hours into the day, and felt slightly sticky throughout the day--like you can feel it creasing.I tried it with both powder and cream eyeshadows with similar results. I don't usually struggle with creasing. I set my makeup with both powder and setting spray both underneath and on top of the rest of my makeup. My usual eye base is a bit of concealer mixed with the Smash box Always On cream shadows which are more silicone based and haven't had this issue.Overall I was hoping for a real multitasker that would simplify my routine, but this just didn't work for me personally, it may be better with someone who has dry or more mature skin
