Ok, I am going to take the time to review this product because it is excellent for the price however there are just a few things you need to know and No, I am not being paid to write this review, My reviews are honest and nothing was given to me, I spent my own money with no discounts. 1. When you receive this ITR it comes with 2 units and a slip of paper with a digital download or a Vimeo video to watch, I recommend watching these before you start playing with the reel. 2. The Reel may come with wax ends that are deteriorating but don’t worry, just add wax (If needed) slowly work the thread in and out. Do not pull a lot of thread out and release but work the thread in. I personally removed the thread from both of my units and completely disassembled them completely, I then unwound the thread onto a playing card in nice neat circles making sure it has no knots. I then applied a small amount of oil (any oil that can be used as a lubricant is fine) I soaked the thread on a card with oil for an hour before reassembling the unit. Take your time and this will serve you well but for those who have no patience probably don’t need to be working with thread. The downloadable video has assembly, troubleshooting tips and everything else you should know about the reels. (I will attach a photo of how I wrapped my thread) 3. Shipping was actually pretty fast considering this was coming from China! Not 2-3 days but maybe a week or 2. 4. When this unit is prepared and put together it is perfect when used as a venom reel for levitating rings and other objects. The quality is good, the thread may look weird or thick but it’s supposed to be this way but the good thing is you can even add your own thread, This reel in my opinion is the best design you can buy. If you see any negative reviews it is likely from someone who expects it to work right out of the box like a $200.00 set of reels. Take your time and save a lot of money by doing pre-maintenance (I expected this at this price)
