Described as having removanle insoles but someone asked same question here and the answer was not removable. True answer?

I bought black ones with a white sole. I needed the insoles to be removable and they were. They are and they are very comfortable.

These shoes do not look like they have metal-protected lace holes... Are they fake? See the real Ecco site for comparison.

I can confirm that the Ecco Soft 7 Sneaker does not have metal-protected lace holes. They were were purchased as described and I had no reason to suspect that they were fake..
