It came with a layer of grease which was easy to wipe off. The biggest issue is that the spinlock collars do come loose. Had to buy replacement so that this in consideration and add to the price. Another negative is that my 1" York spinlock collars don't work with the bar. It seems like the bar itself is just over 1"?
