Perfect for your little perfectionist who throws a tantrum when things go wrong.
I have four-year-old who has ZERO patience when things don't go right the first time. This book has been wonderful for her. It has helped her to understand that, instead of throwing a tantrum when something she is working on doesn't go immediately the way she things it should, she should walk away and cool down. It also teaches perseverance. I find that my child can relate to what happens to the girl in the story. Also, the illustrations are fabulous.

Beautifully illustrated and very relatable
My daughter absolutely loved this book - cute, funny, beautifully illustrated and it teaches a good lesson as well. Children often get frustrated when their vision outstrips their capabilities but this story shows the importance of not giving up. Definitely recommended.

My 4 year old and I really loved this book. So great to see the female protagonist tinkering with machines.,which is so often shown to be exclusively for boys. Highly recommended x

Enjoyable and Engaging!
My five-year-old granddaughter loved it. The pictures were engaging and the story was really clever. It was easy to keep miss five interested and there were plenty of opportunities for discussion through it and after it. Really enjoyable.
