My hair gels oily quite quickly, but also feels quite dry on the ends. I’ve been stuck trying to find a shampoo, as half of them make my hair feel so stripped and dry and the others don’t feel like they clean my hair properly. I ran across this product and thought I’d buy the smaller size to give it a go, especially since the price is quite affordable. When washing the shampoo out my scalp felt hydrated and clean instead of the usual dry, squeaky clean feeling I usually get. My hair also feels generally much softer than normal, but still clean. Maybe even more fresh and clean that it used to. I have 2b-2c low porosity hair and I feel like this shampoo has supported my wave formation through its hydration. I was nervous to use a shampoo advertised as ‘moisturising’ on my oily scalp, but it’s the first I’ve ever used where you aren’t compromising on effectively cleansing your hair for moisture. It also smells natural and lovely. The only potential downside is that my hair still gets oily as quickly as it used to when I was using a more stripping shampoo. I hoped it would produce less when it’s hydrated, but that may just be the way my hair works.
