Very easy to use and my dog loves it.
My dog has alot of meds as he has seizures. The stuff I used to use is no longer available and as I have dexterity problems I needed something easy to use. This stuff is fantastic and really easy to use. It's like a soft block of modelling clay and I use a spoon to scrape a bit off then put round the tablet and that's it. I would highly recommend this product and I will be buying again in the future.

Great product
Open wide, 😀 Thank you for this marvelous paste, my Border Collie Skye would not take any sort of medication 😷 and I have tried everything on the market to get it inside him but then I spotted this on Amazon and as I am willing to try anything once I gave it a go well blow me down with a feather he loves it so now I can give him his meds without the usual performance of push and shove and now we are much more relaxed and Skye is so much calmer Thank you for a great product

Made my dog wretch
my boy hates taking tablets and spits them out. I could have them in anything and he would spit them out. However, when he went to the Vets they used a little pill treat similar to this which he wolf down. I believe it was supposed to be a cat, but he absolutely loved it and would happily then take his tablets. Unfortunately, these contain too much fat for his diet so I was on the lookout for low fat Pill hiding treats. I would say these are very expensive. But it did seem to cover the tablet. However, my boy tasted this and was making retching noises before I even put a tablet in it. Every time I would get it out of the cupboard, he would run away and hide his head. There is no way that he would eat this treat to be honest it did smell very chemically like synthetic bacon. I don’t know how others have got on with this, but my dog really really did not like it and he’s not that fussy with food, especially bacon.

Works but very expensive
My dog needs several pills a day. This paste covers long capsules as well as round tablets well. And the dog swallows them. But this paste is a lot of sugar, which isn't great for his teeth. This paste is also very expensive - the tub arrived and was half the size I was expecting. Thankfully, we have found that crunchy peanut butter works nearly as well for our dog. Crunchy helps to hide pills better than smooth. We chose a sugar-free peanut butter which works for our boy. Even this high quality peanut butter is still only about a third the price of this wrapping paste. Of course all dogs vary. But for us, this wrap paste is too high sugar and quite pricey.

cheaper than pill pockets
Our greyhound is on long term medication of 3 capsules a day. She can be quite "sniffy" about her food. Using a small amount of paste and rolling the pill / capsule in the paste in the palm of the hand to form a coating that then looks like a small olive - works a treat, just put the "olive" in with the main food in a bowl, not fired down the throat. Let the dog scoop it up, but don't let it get too wet otherwise it just rolls around in the mouth. At the end of last year is was not available on Amazon or anywhere. I even wrote to the company and the manufacturer in USA in despair. The alternative would be a D.I.Y. paste with peanut paste - very messy and hard to store, or, use commercial pill pockets - they are very expensive for long term with more multiple medications. To get the best scoop amount I searched the internet and the best metal scoop was a Danish salt spoon (Ib Laursen Metal Salt Spoon ) as being only 5.5cm long it fits snugly into the lid of the container - so easy to use and store. Other means of delivering medications are available but for me, the wrap a pill is essential, as the "olives" as above are easily added to her food at a meal time, not separate. I am so glad that wrap a pill exists and is once more back on Amazon.

Dry texture
I brought this product after my boy decided he stopped liking his usual pill pocket and it is not very good he likes it but if you have pills it doesn't stick very well more like a dry putty texture which makes it difficult to get it to stick to tablets it is more crumbly in texture which is not what I expected it to be like my boy has intolerances to most flavours also it is worth noting that it has rice in the ingredients which I do not recall being listed on the description. I might buy again until he decides to go back to eating his usual pill pockets but honestly not great quality at all imo for the fact that my boy has to take tablets he can easily find the tablets if not rolled into a ball

Wrap-A Pill coating to help animals take mewdication
I use this to help my greyhound take medication such as anti-biotics as he is very reluctant to take tablets. I break large tablets up into smaller pieces and coat them with Wrap-A-Pill before pushing them into his mouth (he will not open his mouth to take them) and holding his jaws shut He will then readily swallow the tablets. A friend recommended this product after going down the route of wrapping tablets in cream cheese, boiled ham etc. only for my hound to lick off the wrapping and spit out the tablet. Not cheap but it works!

Excellent product, worth every penny
Excellent product, the only one of its kind that works with my dogs who need to take unpleasant tasting medication twice daily. I hope it will become available again in the UK and would happily try the other flavours.

Magic!!!
My dog takes 7 pills a day, it has become a nightmare. As soon as she realizes a pill is inside the “treat” she spits out the pill and literally gags. We have gone through, butter, cheese, ham, turkey, chicken, peanut butter, cream cheese, roast beef, yogurt, pill pockets and so many more! We even had to give it to her on a plate to make it look like it was OUR food. Most of the treats/bully bones we purchase for our dog are from Amazon, so while I was looking for the perfect disguise for her plethora of medications I stumbled upon this putty stuff. I have never tried something like this before, and In all honesty most of our failures were due our crazy pup eating the meat off a pill and spitting the pill out. I thought this would be harder for her to get the pill out. I chose the bacon flavor and tapped the “order now “ button I received my order 2 days later and wanted to check it out. The “stuff “ was dark brown and felt like play doh, the smell was kind of like a hickory scent. I was so curious to see how my pup would react to the putty like substance. I rolled a small amount into s ball, the smell must have hit her in the face because she came running! That was great and all but the real test will come soon enough. Time for bed! This is when she takes the bulk amount of her pills a day so it makes for a GREAT way to end a long day! I individually roll each of the 5 pills into s ball and put them on a plate. Ummm ok she inhaled everything on that plate! Ok so it worked once, let’s see if she takes her pills tomorrow. This dog has taken every single pill for the past 1 2/2 months with only using this one product. It truly is magic! The bacon flavor is a bit more expensive then the cheese and bacon so I decided to order both in my next order. The finicky dog only wanted the bacon, but that’s fine. My only complaint is that I go through 1 container about every 2 weeks. So is it worth it you ask?! ABSOLUTELY, this has saved my sanity and my marriage, We were constant arguing about who isn’t giving the pill correctly, roll it like this! She likes it like that! No you’re doing it wrong! Let me try! We were going crazy! So, if you have a dog who needs to take medication daily you know the pain! Run don’t walk, it really is magic, it makes those pills disappear

Impresionante

BEWARE!!! THIS PASTE MADE MY DOG SICK AND THROWING UP
I have a small 10 lb. dog that requires medication twice a day. She does not like taking the pills, so I've always stuffed them in a small treat which has sometimes been difficult as the treat is not made for this. The wrap-a-pill paste seemed to be the answer to a simpler way of doing this. However right off the bat she seemed to question the pea size paste ball I wrapped around the pill. She would hesitate to take it out of my hand as she has done with no hesitation with the treats prior to this. Once it was in her mouth, she acted like a child who was forced to eat vegetables and wanted to spit it out when the parents weren't looking. I was eventually able to get her to swallow it. I thought maybe just something new that she wasn't used to, so I continued to use the paste, however within one to three hours afterwards, she would throw up the only thing in her stomach which was the paste. Over the next several days, I did a process of elimination to make sure it wasn't happening because of her food diet or other treats that she occasionally got. After the last time I used it, she threw up and had no energy to do anything for hours. After going back to her regular treat that I hid the pills in prior, the throwing up stopped. Don't know if I got a bad batch or what but I'm not willing to try it again. THE NEXT DELIMA! I went to request a refund as I was within my return time frame. The return page kept kicking me out to the PET MD website and phone number and wouldn't process the return. I contacted PET MD and they are NOT associated with this seller. Everything about this seller and product is bad news so BEWARE!!! And forget about getting your money back... Thank goodness she recovered after a few hours and I didn't have to take her to the vet.

Great product for pill time, just need more than expected.
The Pet MD Wrap A Pill Bacon Flavor Pill Paste is undeniably effective in its purpose, but it wasn't quite what I anticipated. While it does its job well—creating a pocket to hide pills and medication for my dog—the consistency was different from what I expected. Instead of a soft paste, it's more akin to a semi-hardened putty, firmer than I imagined. This texture made it less pliable and required more effort to mold around pills. However, despite this texture issue, the product performs excellently. My dog loves the bacon flavor, and it effectively masks the scent and taste of medications, making pill time much more manageable. My only caveat is that it goes quickly due to the firmer consistency, requiring more product for each use. Overall, it's a fantastic product that does its job well. Despite the firmer texture, the effectiveness in disguising pills and the favorable bacon flavor make it a worthy solution for administering medications to my furry friend.
