Paceline Products Chamois Butt'r Original Cycling Anti-Chafe Cream 8 ounces

I’ll be honest, when if first started doing longer rides on my road bike, and also the turbo trainer, I didn’t use chamois cream. What a muppet I was! This stuff is amazing and I cannot see myself using any other product. I don’t get any irritation (which was a big worry when I first tried it), showers off your intimate area easily after a ride, and it washes out of cycling shorts really well, of which is a relief!

The discomfort / pain I started to have on two different bikes has gone by using this cream, so very effective. Worth adding though, if you feel you are sat very upright on your bike, you might be putting too much pressure on your sit bone area - and perhaps a longer step is needed to bring you forwards on your bike.

Wanted this for my longer cycles as I was getting some chafing down below. Have had no issues with it. You don't need a lot and I wouldn't be applying for rides of an hr or under. This seems to have a better price point than some of the other creams and there is a good lot of it, should keep me going a while.

The cream has a good consistency. Not too thick, not too runny/thin. I like that it is lightly scented & particularly that this version has no menthol or similar. Personally I find that 'cooling' (menthol) creams seem clammy and unpleasant. This is a good moisturiser which helps to sustain the skin barrier & prevent against friction & (the accursed) saddle sores.

I recently tried out Chamois Butter, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. Before using it, I struggled with chafing during hikes, but this stuff really does the trick. Just a generous application before setting out on a hike, and I'm good to go. It's like a protective barrier that prevents any chafing or discomfort, even on long treks. Another plus is that it comes in a large tube, so you get plenty of product to last you through many adventures. For anyone who suffers from chafing, Chamois Butter is truly a lifesaver. In summary, while it may feel a bit odd at first, Chamois Butter is an effective solution for preventing chafing during hikes. Once you get used to the application process, you'll appreciate the comfort, protection and security it provides on your outdoor adventures.

I was a bit sceptical about buying/using a chamois cream since when I used to cycle in my youth I used a thick horrible grease that I applied to my old cycling shorts that had real chamois inserts and I figured that now that cycling shorts have gel foam inserts that "lubrication" wasn't necessary. I went through a bad patch where I suffered from saddle soreness for a coupe of weeks, a family friend said buy some "bum butter", looked through the internet and saw there was a whole range of products, some quite expensive (e.g. Assos). I opted for this one and haven't regretted it. It's non-greasy, smells nice and because it's in a tube is easier to apply ithan cream in a tub. Since using it I'm very glad to report that saddle soreness is a thing of the past, so I would thoroughly recommend this cream to all those cyclists out there who are clocking up the miles and want to do so with annoying aches and pains. Not only that I love the product name!

An absolutely brilliant product if you have thick thighs and trouble with chaffing. After using the cream you barely feel that it’s on and it works all day with no problems or the need to reapply after a long day of walking all day and travelling the sites.

Ive had mine for a couple of months and use it daily for work in construction. Its great daily protection for work and lasts ages. The reason for not giving 5 is because I have used another brand that gives instant relief that I believe is better but its a smaller tube. This brand i use for prevention of chaffing and is ideal for me as im in 5 point ppe

I find this product quite effective. I enjoy how the cream is easily dispensed from the squeeze tube instead of a bowl, and that it easily washes off my hands and shorts. I do find that I need to apply additional cream for rides longer than 60 miles. After using this product for nearly 13,000 miles of bicycle tour riding with no saddle sores, I am quite hooked on it 😊. Prior to this I was using the Assos cream (which is also a wonderful product) but I don’t like the non-compressible bowl that product comes in.

Texture agréable, application facile, et réelle efficacité. Réduction nette des frottements même surlongue distance. Produit testé et désormais systématique dans ma routine sportive.

It really worked for me, no more pain due to rubbing and seat. First I used a little more then it goes to everywhere. Then I used a little, size of pea, then great, no mess and no friction and pain
