まず商品概観は、パフ＆ブラシ収納スペースを備えない、薄型円形コンパクトに収められた『カラーパウダー』と言え、商品名に『イルミネイティング』とある通りに、微細なラメ素材を混ぜ込んで光沢感を強調してあります。 その成分はかなり単純で、ベトツキを抑えられる【タルク,マイカ,シリカ】等の鉱物粉を、数種類の【脂肪酸＆グリセリン化合物】で固化してあるのみで、肌に伸ばした後は「サラサラ」感触に転じ、中程度の耐久力も発揮します。 光沢感については、概ね【マイカ】に頼っていると思われ、やや黄金調の色合いですが、星が煌めく様な派手さは無く、ワンポイントなら然程TPOへの影響は生じないです。 芳香性は、米国からの舶来品にしては珍しく【香料】無添加となっており、保存料も【フェノキシエタノール】までに抑えられていて、意外に自然派＆低刺激志向です。 パッケージは、フィルムラッピングのみで、樹脂製コンパクトはロックが掛かる開閉機構なので、ポーチに放り込んでも問題ありませんが、逆に少し硬くて薄型故に開け難く、ネイルを飾っている方には少し辛いです。 販売元は【ロレアル】傘下の米国ブランド【NYX(ニックス)】で、製造国も中国となっていますが、国内販売は同系列日本法人【エル・エル・オー】が担っているので、日本語訳ステッカーで軽くローカライズもされています。 総じて、当方試用品の一つ 【04 カラースノー ローズ】 であれば、派手さを感じない色合いなので、軽く煌めきを楽しめる程度で扱い易く、肌感触も良好でしたので☆×5とします。
