I installed this on my front door because of a cold air draft coming through between the base of the door and the platform (?). It was easy to assemble, I had to adjust it a few times and trim it. The door took a little more force to close because I wanted a nice seal on it. It did get stuck and made noise when opening but it stayed secure to the base of the door from the strong Velcro. It did become a issue when the door would have to be wide open and go over the area rug, it would get stuck and I would have to bend down and hold it up while closing the door. The durability seems great cause it lasted through the winter and it’s a front door so it’s opening and closing all day long. It’s also soft so it did not damage my wood floor or leave any marking. It does carry any dirt or debris that is in the path of where the door opens, so I would just be mindful of that. Overall, it helps, it doesn’t eliminate 100% of the air coming through however I guess it’s not made for every application as not all doors and door frames are built the same.
