She needed to keep scrapping the sides and the bottom of the mixing bowl with the spatula that is supplied and is included in the box in order to mix all of the ingredients together which effectively means that you end up mixing the ingredients, (by hand), with a spatula which is the complete opposite of what was hoped for. It does fold up well and it does store away neatly saving a lot of space but it is virtually ineffective as a food mixer and since that is its main purpose it gets only one star.
