Camelbak 90462 Replacement Tube, Black

Only had to order this because my last one got chewed through by my puppy. Until that happened, every piece of it held up fantastically for a good 5 or 6 years, through a lot of hikes and field work days out in AZ environment. Hopefully the quality is still as good with this new one (I'm expecting it will be). The only complaint I have is that the tube cover that's supposed to insulate (I think?), I'm not really sure if it works to keep your water cooler or warmer (depending on the weather), BUT, I can imagine that it keeps the tubing itself protected from damage (unless you have a puppy).

Needed replacements for my leaky Dakine hydration pack bit valves for mountain biking. These worked perfect. I cut the end of the hose that fits on the bladder and connected it to the quick connect that I pulled off my Dakine bladder. Perfect fit. The hose was the same diameter as my Dakine hose so the quick connect slipped right on. I did heat the hose in hot water, but not sure that was even necessary. I love the shut-off valve on these things, they work great and are easy to use with one hand. The Dakine valve almost needed 2 hands to close so that it wouldn't leak.

45" in length 3/4"(narrow) - 1" (long) head diameter The Hydrolink Tube kit arrived faster than I expected. I ordered on Saturday and got it on Monday (Amazon Prime 2-day ship - OnTrac). I'm using this with the CamelBak 90362 102 oz/3.1L MG Omega Reservoir. I ordered an extra tube since my first one is looped through a motorcycle tank bag with a small hydration port. I bought this second tube so I can remove the reservoir and use it with another backpack for other purposes where I don't need a tank bag. This is my primary hydration method day-to-day, its cleaner because its isolated from floating dust particles and airborne microorganisms. Its more efficient because it can be used hands-free and there's never any risk of big spills compared to tipping over a glass. I was unsure if the kit would come with a big bite valve cover since it is not shown in the picture where the tube kit is out of the box. So just to clarify for potential buyers; the bite cover that is normally sold separately for about $5-8 is included in this purchase. Despite this, this tube kit is still priced a bit high. I've read some reviews that people are experiencing mold buildup within the reservoir/tube. Personally, after about 10 months of using this I haven't run into this issue. I think its due to a number of reasons: - I only put purified water in the reservoir and I never add ice. - I use it everyday; so fresh water is constantly getting filled in. - I try to suck all the air out of it when I refill it so there's no air bubbles floating around. I don't how this would help but I do it to minimize space requirements. - I haven't been using it for years. Hope this helps.

Excellent replacement for my CamelBak insulated tube for which the mouth piece wore out and started leaking. And even before it wore out, occasionally I would sit on it on the ski lift chair and would get all wet on my bottom...yuk! Unlike that one, this one has the shut off valve so I don't expect to run into a leaking tube problem again. My CamelBak bag is the old fashioned connector, i.e. not a quick link connector. As instructions indicated, it was a simple operation to cut off the quick link connector and then force the tube onto my CamelBak bag.

This drink tube came with a hydrolink connection. Don't be like me and not realize there's a difference between this and the quicklink connection. Besides my error it was a solid product.

I have a camelbak from when I was enlisted and the tube got moldy. Couldn't find a replacement anywhere but on Amazon. It fits perfectly into the 3L bladder and works great!

This is a nice setup that works well. The attachment is for the older style camelbak bladders. However I used the fitting from the original hose on this and it works great for my mule pro.

I’m sure they probably won’t ever break, but mine came with a fray an in the fabric so it looks like it’s going to break but it probably won’t. So it serves its purpose I guess, just doesn’t look like it.
