Command 15 Lb XL Heavyweight Wall Hook, Damage Free Hanging Wall Hook with Adhesive Strips, Heavy Duty Single Wall Hook for Hanging Back to School Organizers, 2 White Hooks and 8 Strips

These are great hooks for bags and clothes. I have used them on wooden doors and on walls, and they worked really well. So easy to install and good quality. It will easily hold your coat and doesn’t look bad on a white door. Very useful and good value for the money

These Command XL wall hooks are seriously impressive. I’ve always trusted Command strips for lightweight items, but I was skeptical about the 15 lb claim—until I tried these! I used one to hang a heavy-duty tote bag full of school supplies and another for a winter coat and backpack combo, and they haven’t budged. The adhesive strips are easy to apply, and the instructions are super clear. Just make sure to clean the surface well and give it time to bond before hanging anything heavy. I installed mine on painted drywall and smooth finished wood, and they held strong on both surfaces. The design is simple and clean, so they blend in nicely with the wall, especially the white version. They’re also easy to remove later without damaging paint—which is a huge plus if you’re in a rental, dorm, or just don’t want to mess with wall anchors and screws. ✅ Truly holds up to 15 lbs (when applied correctly) ✅ Great for backpacks, coats, organizers, or even pet gear ✅ Damage-free and renter-friendly These hooks have earned a permanent spot in my home setup—I’ll definitely be ordering more!

I hung this in my daughters room and she hangs a filled tote and a backpack purse on it every day. I am already a big fan of command hooks. I use them all over my apartment. The only time I had a problem was using a flat command strip for a picture above my stand up freezer. I think the heat got to it and made it unstick. These hooks say they hold like 20 lbs I think and so far it has! Easy to hang - follow the directions!!!!!!! Update: It fell off the wall so I hung another. It fell too. Others in my house have never fallen down. Think it is the wall in her room or that particular paint or something. Not sure but gonna keep trying because they usually work great. Maybe re-clean that spot on the wall and rinse/wipe it better.

The Command heavy-duty wall hooks rated for 15 lbs are a convenient and damage-free solution for hanging curtains over a doorway. They hold securely when properly applied, making them a good option for lightweight to medium curtain setups without needing nails or drilling. Installation is simple and straightforward, and the adhesive strips provide a strong grip on smooth surfaces like painted walls or doors. When used within the weight limit, they stay in place well and can support curtain rods for decorative or light privacy curtains. They are also removable without leaving residue or damaging the wall, which makes them ideal for renters or temporary setups. However, proper surface preparation is important to ensure maximum hold strength. Overall, these hooks are a practical and versatile option for hanging doorway curtains, offering a clean installation and reliable support when used correctly within their weight capacity.

★★★★☆ Great for lightweight sheers, but follow the prep instructions carefully! Verified Purchase I bought these because I live in a rental apartment and didn't want to lose my security deposit by drilling holes above my windows. Overall, they do the job well, but there are a few important things you need to know before buying. Installation is straightforward, but surface preparation is crucial. You must clean the wall with rubbing alcohol first and wait a full hour after pressing the strips to the wall before hanging your rod and curtains. If you try to hang everything right away, the adhesive won't hold. As long as you stick to lightweight curtains (like sheers, light cotton, or semi-sheer panels) and a standard thin rod (0.5" to 0.75" diameter), they hold up great. However, I wouldn't trust these with heavy blackout drapes or thick velvet curtains—the weight limits are serious, and the hook cradle is specifically sized for thinner decorative rods. They look surprisingly clean and modern once mounted, and removing them during my last apartment move was completely damage-free with zero paint damage. A solid 4-star product for lightweight window treatments!

Worked great for what I got them for! Used these to hang up my kid's backpacks by the front door and get them off the floor. They're heavy duty, easy to install, and overall work great for their intended purpose. They are a little bigger than I was expecting, but that doesn't matter either way. Great organizational tool for small spaces

I have used the 5lb hooks many times and love them. This one fell off the wall once I hung the picture each time I tried. I even let it sit over night before I hung the picture that isn’t more than 6 or 7 pounds. Waste of money. The painting scratched the wall and color rubbed off on the wall on the way down when it fell each time and I can’t fix it. Freshly painted walls now need to be repainted in that area. Very aggravating all around.

Nice and strong but removed without damaging the walls. Reusable with replacement command adhesive Velcro strips

Sealed and as expected.

Excellent! Great strength-I hang multiple wet towels from these things. Easy to put on and they seem very secure. I bought them to hang my wet towels up with and they can handle 3 big wet towels for drying. Great product.
