MTM 100rd Ammo Box .22lr

I'm sure that it's great for it's intended purpose, which is to hold 100 rounds of .25 or .22lr ammunition. However as I live in the UK and the powers that be get apoplectic fits if you want to own a firearm, I bought it to hold 1/4" hex shank scewdriver bits. It's great for this as long as your bits are no longer than 25mm or one inch.

Got for 22LR but they also take 25. The 22s rattle a bit in the box - maybe they don't so much for 25s. However putting a bit of foam in the lid keeps them rock solid. A shame that the holes aren't a little deeper so that the bullets could be tip down rather than tip up, but that's not really a great problem. Overall, so much better than the now dreadful boxes used by manufacturers to pack their bullets in.

Not having an FAC this box was easy to Dymo-label with my name and a bright sticker for storage in the club ammunition safe amidst a raft of same-looking cardboard boxes with initials scribbled on them. Holds 100 rounds of .22LR so I can buy 2 boxes of 50 at a time and not faff about with small change. Rounds go in brass-down and are easy to extract from the box. Secure lid means no spills.

Perfect for keeping my collection of hex bit drivers tidy.

Sorry guys but this box does not work for .22LR ammo and I purchased two to my regret. I love MTM products but alas this one falls short on delivery in use. When used with .22LR ammo they rattle around too much and when loaded case down you cant pick up the slippery bullet end and when loaded bullet down they are too loose in the cells and fall out easily spilling them on the floor when opening the case. These are a waste of my money, but they may work for you.

Quality little box. Very pleased.

This box is really nicely made and will certainly last me a long time. Although it is not waterproof (for immersion in water) it is certainly splash proof / shower proof as the two parts fit together very securely. I'd definitely recommend this box to anyone wanting to keep ammo dry and dust free, especially good for carrying a decent amount of ammo securely in a backpack. I bought this box as part of my Ruger 10/22 takedown kit but unfortunately only one was available at the time. I will definitely be buying more as I think it is good value.

.. in which you can store 100 boo-lets ( (c) Hickock45 ;-) ) MTM cases are generally well made, sizing can sometimes be an issue but this is perfect for storing 22LR, 'head up'. Handy at the range. I bought another one after my first as they're much more convenient than furtling around with the usual packaging that .22LR comes in.

Super boîtier à munitions pour .22lr, les séparateur sont suffisamment haut pour éviter que les munitions se touchent. Je pense en recommandé d’autres ! Pour pinailler ça bouge un peu à l’intérieur donc j’ai ajouté un carré de mousse fine dans le couverte supérieur pour un meilleur maintien. Je recommande !

Zéér tevreden ermee, goede kwaliteit. Alhoewel het niet perfect geschikt is voor de 22lr munitie, iets te grote vakjes, de kogeltjes zitten er wat losjes en scheef in. Maar het past wel.
