A simple, but often overlooked guitar product, although I'd tend to agree these are a little on the expensive side, I feel you have to pay a little extra to get true quality with guitar cables and it's totally worth it, a bit like having good tires on a car - a bit of a boring purchase, but fundamental, essential and in many ways, can make the biggest difference. Gold plating is rather over-hyped , Silver is the better conductor and neither will make a badly designed connector with a poor quality cable sound any good. These are really good sounding and well-made cables and are a significant step up in quality from the basic range. I haven't found anything which represents better value. NB the 3.0m sounds fuller than the 5.0m (not that surprising as it is almost double the length). Also come with a life-time warranty which is honoured.
