DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo (DJI RC) – Lightweight and Foldable Mini Camera Drone with 4K HDR Video, 38-min Flight Time, True Vertical Shooting, and Intelligent Features

My wife bought me the Mavick combo some years back. A great drone. Now I have upgraded to this Mini 3 with the video screen RC. I was always of the mind that paying for a screen was a bad idea when your phone has a perfectly good screen. I could not be more wrong. The RC unit with a screen is just fab. Touchscreen and great resolution - plenty bright enough unlike some reviews. Just makes it so much quicker to get flying. The drone itself is just amazing. Much bigger, faster, quieter. If you are looking for an entry level <250g drone with amazing video and still specs - trust me - this is a fantastic buy and the price point with 3 batteries, charging caddy and carry case is just amazing given the tech you get. 4K video and 48MP still shots. Worth every penny - just buy it and you will not be disappointed. I have no financial interest in any of the sellers, DJI and have no benefit in kind from them. I bought the DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo expecting it to be a “fun weekend gadget.” What I actually got was a highly portable flying camera that immediately made my regular camera feel like it should apologise for its existence. First impression: it’s absurdly light. Under 249g, which means it feels less like tech and more like you’re about to launch a very expensive paper bird into the sky. And yet it just… flies properly. Smooth, stable, downfall is no obstacle avoidance however this is an ideal starter drone that will have you trying to get footage of every angle of that sunset

I purchased this as my first drone and I have to say I loved every minute of it. Easy to setup and easy to use and fly. I highly reccomend this drone as a good quality reasonably priced entry level drone with lots of functions. Don't waste your time on £20 drones from other apps. They do not come close in flyability. I found the range really good and the built in screen brilliant. On one occasion I encounted a signal loss. I ran after the drone and was really worried. To my relief it utilised the return home function and landed exactly where it took off from (on my patio)

I already have the DJI mini SE but the fly app isn't supported with my smart phone so i was grounded from the start and wish i had known before hand but this model came out with the DJI RC controller with built in screen and app already installed and it was a game changer no more having to connect a smartphone or downloading apps, I am a complete novice at drone flying but this bundle is so simple to master and makes flying your drone a breeze and the quality of images and video is fantastic and being able to see from great heights certainly changes your view of your surroundings and greatly improves your photography and the built in screen on the controller is bright and clear even on a sunny day and all controls are easy to operate and has the return to home button right where you need it in emergency situations, I absolutely love this little drone especially with the extra batteries and charger which gives you more flying time wherever you are and everything fits neatly into the supplied zipped bag along with spare propellers and charging cables, I highly recommend this drone especially for beginners like me.

This is a breeze to manoeuvre, it is an easy set up a 10-20mins play around to get the feel and your off. The control unit is so nice to handle it doesn’t feel heavy, it’s robust and sturdy well moulded. Picture quality on the screen is bright and clear. So pleased we got the one with the built in screen too. You get 3 batteries as the battery life 🪫 drains quickly. You don’t get any microSD cards so you have to buy those one for DJI and one for hand console. Great features return to home, pause very very easy to understand. You do have to do a flight test and you get a certificate for this incase you get asked by the police etc. This is a must to be able to use the drone.

Product was advertised as an amazon warehouse item, only issue listed was a 'slightly damaged box'. Item arrived, had obviously been used, and even worse had been registered to someone else, which DJI can't undo, only the previous owner can (it's an anti theft measure from DJI). Sent it back via Amazons own UPS service which meant taking a day off work, item took 5 days to get back, and amazon say a refund may take 3 weeks. I expect better from Amazon, they've had enough of my money over the years.

Brilliant

Takes a bit of setting up regarding SD card location and learning the importance of the fine detail of some of the features. One example is that the "fly home" setting has a height setting, important (as I found out) when using command with a tree on route home! Wish I had bought the pro version though, a bit more money but more features.

Just got into drone photography so I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money right away. This little drone is a beast for the price. The camera is excellent and the flight time is way more than I expected. It is true you get what you pay for in that other drones that are double the price or more have better features but this thing if fighting above its weight class and is an awesome drone for someone who is just starting out or just wants to go have fun. Only thing I wish it had was some obstacle avoidance but I bought propeller guards and that works for me. I highly recommend the controller with a screen. I have used drones that require a phone on the controller and it works but this controller makes it so everything is ready to deploy right away and no need to drain your phone's battery. The biggest issue I ran into with the phone was even with the brightness all the way up in sunlight it was hard to see the screen but with this controller that is not the case it is super bright even direct sunlight doesn't cause an issue. Plus set up was super easy as you did everything with the controller. If you are a professional you will likely be disappointed in the missing features of this drone but for beginners and those just wanting something with good quality this is an awesome product. I will be upgrading to the Mini 4 pro at some point so it was nice the batteries work with both drones. I did have to register it with the FAA due to the added weight of the propeller guards so I wish I had gotten the larger batteries. I cant speak on the durability as I have not crashed mine but when handling it the plastic is not very thick to reduce weight.

brand new for a bargain price would definitely recommend as a starter drone
