Question for trufflehunter: what exactly is truffle flavour listed in the ingredients?

It is an artificial chemical that has nothing to do with truffles, made in petrochemical labs. It is not truffle and that’s 99% of the flavour any of this company’s products comes from. The truffles they use are summer truffles which are of zero culinary value and they illegally call them ‘black truffles’. Black truffles normally wholesale at £800-900 per kg so what they’re selling you is a chemical not a truffle. Be careful and read the labels carefully.

What are the ingredients?

Hello, Here is what you want to know: Ingredients Black Truffles Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Salt, Black Truffle flavour. Suitability Gluten Free – No Dairy – No Nuts – Suitable for Vegans & Vegetarians

how much percent truffle does it contain？

its just minced truffle and a little oil(making the best truffle oil ever), its a good amount.

Has truffle hunter tasted it (he admitted here to not tasting his oils.....)?

Our products are taste tested by a panel each week. The panel consists of myself (Managing Director) and my key staff (including Chef's). The statement that we do not taste our oils is ridiculous, we would never has suggested that. Not only do we taste all of our products in-house to ensure they are of the highest quality, we have external taste panels such as the 'Guild of Fine Foods' who have been awarding us with 'Great Taste Awards' since 2012. This is in addition to the thousands of loyal customers, Michelin-starred restaurants & food critics that we supply daily.
