Review: A good lower priced product from the originators! - Although there have to be slightly lower levels of performance from a product costing around £80 rather than £220 this is a nicely turned out item. It has a quality feel and looks to match! Having had to return a similar item from a rival manufacturer as unfit for purpose I was perhaps a bit more critical of this one but I'm glad to say my fears were unfounded. The Reflection Filter X is ideal for the project studio and in conjunction with other acoustic treatment in the recording room will certainly help reduce any unwanted sound from behind the microphone
Review: This is an amazing bit of kit for the price - This is an amazing bit of kit for the price. Im just getting into recordings and noted there was a bit of echo to the things i had recorded. This works so well to clear those echoes out and give a nice flattened uncoloured response. I would suggest make sure you have a sturdy enough stand. I've got an old £20 mic stand that seems to be falling over under it's weight. It's holding up well but I think it's beginning to lean. It should fit most mic stands comfortably. It's quite a fiddle to get setup with washes and bits of plastic that fly off. So I like to leave mine set up.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this product be shiped to algeria?**
A: Too expensive to ship there. No profit would be made

**Q: I have my large condenser microphone, with a shock mount, on a boom that's extended out about 80%. Will this reflection filter work with a boom?**
A: Just guessing, but I'd think that unless you have a very heavy base on the boom, the filter would cause the boom to "capsize". I have only used this with a desktop mic stand with a heavy base. You might want to look into other products to accomplish minimizing reflections/room noise. Eyeball, for example?

**Q: Is it true that all of these are shipped with Euro mic adapters and US adapters have to be ordered sep? If this is the case, how much are the US adapt**
A: The adapters are dual with the one that was shipped to me, so the threads fit inside one another. Just take a penny and back out the screw and the two different adapters will separate. Like a "pipe" within a "pipe" if that makes sense.

**Q: what mic can fit this?**
A: Just about any mic will fit. I've used a large condenser mic with a shockmount and an SM58 with a regular clip mount, both work fine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good lower priced product from the originators!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Item fine, delivery awful
*by A***R on 20 December 2013*

This item was fine and met expectations. However, the delivery via FedEx was totally unsatisfactory. On first notification put through my door, I called to arrange a delivery time when I would be home. The following day (not the day arranged), I found another delivery note through the door, and called again to confirm the arranged time. When the day came, the delivery did not come. It arrived two days later when I was out, but fortunately neighbours took it in. This waste of time and phone calls to Fedex cost me, and I am not happy.
