Good product that’ll keep your BBQ clean.

Brilliant saved all that scraping and scrubbing of the grills after. We paid a small fortune for our gas BBQ and the cleaning put me off. These can be cut to the correct size. We have overlapped ours and our BBQ grills are at a very slightly Angle so the fat just runs straight off the mats and into the fat reservoir into the collection pot. Makes cleaning so much easier. The Mats are dishwasher safe too. The tongs are decent quality and a great addition. I haven’t used the blaster yet as I tend to marinade the meat. The price for the mats, Tongs and basting brush was really good value.

In terms of keeping the BBQ clean, these certainly do the trick. I did find that meat with a glaze left a burnt stickiness that was, at best, difficult to clean off. Good heat transference and stops any bits from falling through the grill. The tongs and brushes are a useful addition. I'd expect to get a few uses from each sheet, unless lots of previously mentioned glazed food. At the price, I'm happy with that

These mats are fabulous, the food cooks nicely on them and the clean up afterwards is quick and simple. I have only used them three times so far but they look like they will last at least one BBQ season particularly as the season can be short in the UK.

This grill mat set comes with tongs and a silicon brush used for spreading oil etc I noted that some people complained that these two items were missing from their parcel but they are well hidden inside the tube of rolled up mats ! I found these mats to a be of good quality and suitable for their purpose at a reasonable price too!

Great when cooking chicken spatchcock the juices stay on the Bbq sheet and can be used to baste , Bbq cooking with the grill marks but without the burning or flame surges definitely a must have , non sticky and very easy to clean whether in the dishwasher or hand washing .

I hesitated over buying these as I was worried that they would stop my food from having the proper flavour you normally get from cooking on a BBQ, but I checked with someone who is a bit of a BBQ pro and he said would recommend using a mat (not specifically these ones, just in general) so I took the leap. He was right, there was no change to the taste and they do make cleaning up a lot easier, however there are a few negative points: 1. The fat from the food has nowhere to go, so ends up pooling on the cooking mat. You need to be careful to mop up every so often or you could end up with fat just running off the edges of the mat and making the whole thing pointless (I just use a couple of sheets of folded kitchen roll and wipe the mat with tongs) 2. If you are cooking something like chicken drumsticks with a glaze then inevitably the sugars in the glaze will cause the skin to stick to the mat when you try to take the chicken off. The left over skin will then burn solid and leave residue that will not clean off 3. The mats often get small tears in them (less than 1/2 an inch usually) which can result in the fat dripping down onto the grill, again making the mat less effective at keeping your BBQ clean 4. Although the mats can go in the dishwasher they never really seem clean after being used (especially with some types of food - see point 2) On the plus side, they are very cheap for what they are and you can get a few uses out of each mat which makes them worth while. The free tongs and silicone brush are an added bonus (the brush is pretty good, the tongs are cheap but always useful to have a spare pair). I would probably buy again, as a replenishment for the worn out ones.

When I opened the packet I found the sheets to be thinner than I had imagined. The good news is that they are easy to cut to shape to exactly fit your BBQ grill. The heat transference is good, so things cook really well & of course the BBQ grills etc. stay much cleaner. The sheets don't just rinse or wipe off when sauces or fat burns on them but I've found that soaking them in the sink for a few mins makes them pretty easy to clean & certainly easier than an unprotected BBQ grills. The downside is that I can't see them lasting for very long. At my first use I scrapped a metal spatular along the surface & it cut straight through. I'm much more careful now but after about 6 BBQs and washes the sheets are looking a bit shabby, so I'm not sure how much longer before they split or tear. Overall does the job, we'll have to wait & see how long they last.
