This is incredible. We have Mitsubishi mini-splits in our house and they wanted $400 each to add a wifi to them. I simply told the app the manufacturer and confirmed the buttons worked (all except one). I was able to reprogram the button that didn't work with 2 clicks. Immediately alexa detected it and now I can control the AC with alexa commands and can program schedules for them through alexa.

This thing is the greatest piece of tech now that universal remotes are going away. Use this and Google home to run an automation that every time the tv turns on the analog IR powered stereo will turn on

The ceiling lights that I bought from home Depot actually use 2.4 GHz for the signal to control the light, so this device didn't work - but that's just my failure to do research. I already had Smart Life on my phone and it connected fine, it's just that it couldn't do anything.

Works well controlling my Daiken AC. I can control it via Google Home by creating scenes in the SmartLife app, and then creating automations that trigger those scenes in Google Home.

We had this set up the minute we received it, was very easy to install and works throughout all 3 levels of our house. The design is great, it’s very durable, and easy to control, just takes some adjusting and getting use to it.

Tried for 2 hours to get a Roku IR device to work. Despite the Q&A on the product page, it does not seem to support this via pre-coded items, and the DIY manual function is ridiculous to use. The app is terrible and would be a nightmare to use if you need to switch between devices to use as a universal remote. Cheap, but still not worth it.
