It took me about 10 minutes to find the height I wanted. I have the frame fully stretched to the max length and at the highest height for the hammock. It’s in my covered porch so it will not get rained on. I am 140 lbs and petite. I purchased the Medium size. I could easily fit in the Small size. I tried this with my 14 lb dog. I used a pillow and my 14 lb dog and I fell asleep laying on it for about an hour. I made sure I laid down carefully and centered so no flipping incident. A small kid would fit laying down next to me comfortably but not another adult. I can see it fitting 2 adults sitting side by side but not laying down together. If you pack this to take with you, it would be about the size and weight of those 10x10 or 12x12 canopy in a bag. It will be almost too heavy for me. If I decide to keep, I will likely get a different hammock. For what it came with, it looks breathable and comfortable enough if you use your own pillow. I haven’t tried to fit the frame in the bag. I saw reviews that says it’s hard to fit it in the case.
