**Q: Will this lock work on a wooden gate which is 2.75 inches thick I.e. Is the door spindle provided long enough?**
A: I put mine on a wooden gate and it worked fine the problem I had was icy weather and it jamming so carers etc could not get in so I had to take it off. It may work well on your gate especially if you do not need it for emergency. When the day warmed up it was fine. Hope this helps you come to a decision.

**Q: It has no fitting instructions,  where can i get fitting instructions?**
A: Taken photo of instructions but can’t send! 🤷‍♀️

**Q: Would this system work on a static caravan and would it be easy to fit**
A: Not too sure. Depends on door construction. 1.  You have to bore a hole in the door thickness of around 20mm dia and 50 or 60 mm deep for the lock barrel.2.  You will need to cut the length of the flat plate that goes through the handles. 3.  Note, Your numbers can be used in any combination to gain access.hope this helps. chris

**Q: Does fitting it weaken a wooden door?**
A: In theory any holes will weaken a door to some extent. The answer I doubt has ever been properly tested.
