Simple and effective
Easy to use and it just works. I put the mSATA SSD in, screwed it in place with the provided screws, connected it up with a SATA-USB cable I had already and plugged it in to the computer. After a brief wait for the driver install I can see the user's data. Maybe this will teach them to do backups (I don't want to say I told you so...) but at least I can salvage things when they destroy their laptop.

Does what it says in product description
Managed to utilise a SanDisk msata ssd (from a broken Samsung Series 9) in an older HP laptop with a 2.5inch hard disk mount with absolutely no issues. Comes well packaged in a box and anti static plastic wrapping and with good instructions. Great value.

Supplied with screws to take the mSATA card. Slotted into my case perfectly with no issues. I use the SDD as my boot disk and had no problems.

Worked as advertised. I had a defunct laptop and simply transferred the SSD to a PC chassis that I had that was lacking a hard drive.

Works exactly as expected.
Notably, the 2.5-inch mounting holes use the coarser thread usually found on 3.5 inch HDDs, rather than the finer thread common amongst SSDs. It comes with a full set of matching countersunk head screws, but it could be a concern if you don't already have a large collection of PC screws, should countersunk head screws not be the appropriate screw for where you're mounting the adapter.

Custodia per ssd Msata
Premetto che avevo adoperato un altro modello per un mio amico. Ma non era più disponibile. Allora visto che questo aveva un prezzo allettante è visto il paese di produzione ho optato su StarTech. Mi serviva per mettere un ssd Msata da 1tb in un portatile ASUS che ormai ha 8 anni. L'unità funziona perfettamente, il computer ha riconosciuto subito il ssd ,poi fatto la clonazione ho cambiato il vecchio hdd con ssd. Per me vale tanto è l'ho consigliò se avete la necessità come me di prendere un msata. Potevo prendere un disco 2.5" ma a me piace la Msata.
