USB Bluetooth Receiver Adapter, Wireless Audio Adapter Car Kit Music Receiver for Home Stereo/Car Stereo Sound System Speakers with 3.5mm Cable.(Aux in) (Yet-M1)

I wasn't sure it was going to work. I have 2012 Honda, which when I bought it would only play Apple products through the radio, AND you have them hooked up to a USB cord. I did not have an Apple device at the time, nor did I have one for the next 11 years. Last April, I got my first iPhone, but I didn't want to have to hook it up to the usb. So I bought this Bluetooth receiver - hoping that if I plugged IT into the USB port, it would work. I didn't have a lot of faith, but I should have, because it worked like a charm. My phones connects to it right away whenever I start the car. The sound quality is good. I can tuck the receiver in the storage compartment in the arm rest. All in all, very happy. Would recommend.

Update: I've had this since June 2023 and have begun to really hate it. It only works half the time. There's always a 5 second lag to play a song or switch a song. But the worst part now is in the middle of a song it will start to get real distorted and then the song will play in fast forward sped up. The only option is to close Spotify and restart it again. If I could give this thing less than 1 star I would. Very disappointed.I've had my 2009 Honda Pilot since it came out and it didn't come with bluetooth. Only a AUX/USB input for an iPod. Well since streaming music via bluetooth became a thing I've always been jealous because I couldn't do it. I always had to use a lightning to USB cable to listen via the iPod input which worked fine but obviously not wireless. I came across this item the other day and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked! My problem was solved! I can now stream music from my iPhone to my car's AUX input wirelessly through the bluetooth connection this USB receiver/adapter provides! I have to turn my car stereo's volume up a little louder than before but that's fine and it sounds great! Very happy with my purchase!

I use it on my 2013 Mini Cooper which has a USB port adjacent to the auxiliary input. The USB is on my car only workable with music on the thumb drive but it works as a great charger for the device I just keep it plugged in at all times. And with the included mini jack cable it's super simple and works like a charm. The sound output quality is great and very reliable pairing to my Android phone over Bluetooth. For the money it's a good. So nice to have a Bluetooth audio solution for an older model car that dealing with those silly FM transmitters.

It works for what I need it for , on the stock Chevy Express stereo unplugged into the USB port it has a timer that counts down from 43 minutes so if you music is playing when it hits a zero it's almost like a CD skips it just blinks out for a minute and then comes back on I'm not sure if it's something with this transmitter or if it's the actual Chevy stereo and the way it reads this, The seat buttons do not work when using this you have to actually go into your phone to fast forward to a different song on the stock Chevy stereo I'm not sure on any other stereo systems how this would react or work because I have not been able to test it yet, has a decent sound quality I actually turned off the ability to use this for telephone calls as the van itself has hands-free telephone built in that works just fine so I won't have to use this at all for hands-free phone calls. Will update in the future on this real easy to plug in and use USB Bluetooth device that I'm giving four stars because of the one problem that I'm having at the moment.

I updated my iOS to the latest version, 12.3.1. Little did I know that doing so would completely remove my ability to listen to music in my car!!! I have a USB port in my glove box that I would connect my charger to and connect my phone, and my music would play in my speakers. After the STUPID update my screen read "No music." I was devastated!! I came across these Bluetooth USB ports and decided to try one not knowing if it was going to work and by golly it did! Now, the quality is not what it used to be and I can't skip songs by pushing the skip button on my stereo but I am glad I found a solution to play music from my phone in my car again.STUPID APPLE. >=|

It was used for a 2014 Tahoe LTZ. It has the original radio with the USB on the inside of the center console. Its good for a wireless connection to the radio. I just hated the fact that it had a 5-10 second delay in playing and pausing music. Just a personal preference.

This thing is the best version of a Bluetooth stick I have ever used. as soon as you plug it in, it casts its signal and you never have to charge it. when you plug it in, it makes a little ding in your stereo system so you know when its ready to play music without having to whip out your phone.one caviat is that if you have an apple only USB connection, this will not work with it. which is kind of why I got it in the first place. I use an android and I ended up having to replace my whole stereo system to get my phone to work with the sound system in my car. but that's a problem with apple exclusivity rather than this product.

I wanted this to work so badly! The device connects easily and the sound quality is good. The problem is there is a 20 second lag (yes I timed it) between what is coming from the phone and what is playing out of the car speakers. At first i thought I could just learn to live with it... but it gets increasingly more annoying as the drive progressed. Imagine changing a song and waiting 20 awkward seconds for it to actually change. On top of that, not only is there a lag but the songs playing skip (like an old scratched CD) at least 3 times per song. The combined struggles make it not worth it in my opinion. :(
