Purchased as a final attempt to change the disheveled appearance of my work lorry, and also as a test before I use it on my car. I’ve attached some photos to illustrate what I was dealing with, and the end result. The interior plastics have taken some serious abuse over the years and as a result look awful. Badly faded, stained and covered in streaks. I have tried other products in the past and none of them have had this sort of immediate impact on the appearance. In one quick and easy application it has completely brought the plastic back to life. It doesn’t work miracles obviously, and yes if you look carefully you can still see some of the imperfections, but considering the horrendous challenge it was set, it performed admirably. I don't understand what the difference is.** A: I really do not know. I have a boat on a river. I use both products , seem the same to me. The only thing I am thinking , maybe the marine formula has more UV protection since the boat is usually in open sun light.They are both excellent ! **Q: Could this product be applied to the outside of a vertical propane smoker with surface temps that can reach up to around 500 degrees?** A: The simple answer is yes. The material safety data sheet for this product under section 5.1 (flashpoint & method) & section 5.2 (auto ignition temperature) both state not applicable. Under multiple section 2 categories it's stated that there is no inhalation risk. This would support a yes answer. Under section 10.2 (decomposition products) it states heat & co2 will age the product faster. Longevity of the protestant may be short but it appears that it, in theory, is safe. I could not find a temp smoke point. If you try this I may do a test spot somewhere on your smoker before you attempt a full coat. **Q: Can it be used on a black and white cotton umbrella used in Arizonia direct sun to keep from fading ?** A: It goes on a little like armor All except it dries and leaves a matte finish and is not greasy at all.
