Whew, am I glad I found this!I have shoulderlength hair that I rarely brush (just rake the moult out sometimes) so it's sort of dready and surfie. When I wash it it bushes out into a frizzy mop, but it's soft and fine and goes flat a day later. If, on the day after washing, I spritz and scrunch it with water, then apply a few squirts of this stuff (you don't need much) tousle and work well in, scrunch again, it springs back to life in wild messy curls, and better still, it stays soft without that vile crisp feel that so many of these products give. After that, just spritz with water only and scrunch every day - don't need any more salt spray till after next wash. Keeps volume and curls until my hair's dirty again.This stuff has disappeared off my local supermarket's shelves, so I'm panic buying.If I have any criticism it's that the bottle is a stupid shape, falls over easily and hard to use with wet hands, but it's still worth it for the effect.

When added to my hair it was very sticky but then felt like dry shampoo. I didn’t like the way it made my hair feel. I’ve got very thick hair that needs taming but this was not the answer
