Babies and toddlers aged 0-3 will love pointing to and naming the different objects with this first-word book. Each section of this engaging and educational book is dedicated to a different theme, such as food and shapes. Bright, colourful photographs illustrate each word, with easy-to-read labels so your little one can sound out the words with you. This delivers a rounded early learning reading experience and helps your little one develop early speaking, listening, and observation skills. This interactive board book for babies offers: Over 180 colour photographs of animals, toys, other children, household objects, food, drink, favourite place and more. Word labels that match different photographs for little ones to learn first words. A chunky board book format with safe, rounded tabs, thoroughly safety tested for babies and toddlers. This baby and toddler learning book has strong board pages made especially for young children and the chunky tabs along the top and side are easy to grab to help with early motor control. Children will quickly recognise the picture on the tab which will take them straight to the page with their favourite pictures. First words are grouped into 13 distinct subject areas so kids can turn to their favourites and even take the book with them to learn the names of objects wherever they go including: clothes, parts of the body and face, around the house, at the park, on the farm, at the beach, food and drink, pets, toys, animals and more! Review: Brilliant first book for developing vocabulary - I bought this tabbed board book for my 18-month-old, and it's quickly become one of our most-reached-for books during story time. Design & Durability: The tabbed format is genius - little fingers can easily flip between sections, and my toddler loves the independence of "choosing" which page to explore. The board book construction is robust enough to withstand enthusiastic handling, dropped toys, and the occasional teething incident! Educational Value: The book covers essential first words across different categories (animals, food, toys, etc.), with clear, colourful illustrations that immediately capture attention. The images are simple but engaging, making it easy for little ones to identify and point to familiar objects. Interactive Features: The tabs make this much more engaging than a standard picture book. My child has learned to associate the tab pictures with the content inside, which feels like an early literacy win. Great for developing fine motor skills too. Practical Benefits: Perfect size for small hands Wipes clean easily (essential with toddlers!) Sturdy enough for independent "reading" Encourages vocabulary building through repetition Keeps attention longer than many other books Age Appropriateness: Ideal for 12 months onwards. Even pre-verbal babies enjoy the bright pictures, whilst older toddlers can start attempting the words. Minor points: Could benefit from slightly larger text for parents reading aloud Some tabs occasionally stick together when new Bottom line: This book strikes the perfect balance between educational content and toddler-friendly design. It's become a bedtime staple and has genuinely helped expand my child's vocabulary. Perfect for: Parents looking for an engaging, durable first book that grows with their child. My toddler absolutely loves this tabbed board book, and it’s been incredible to see them recognize and start saying a number of words from it. The book’s engaging design and colorful illustrations make learning fun and interactive. The tabbed pages are easy for little hands to navigate, and the clear, simple words help reinforce vocabulary. Perfect at 12-18 months
My seven month old loves sitting with mummy or daddy and a good book, and quite happily turns the pages and stares at the pictures for up to half an hour... usually. However, with this book she really is not at all interested. We recently had a friend come to our house with her three year old and he, too, just quickly flicked through it and discarded it, but read most of the other books a couple of times. It’s good quality and arrived on time, it’s just not a book that we like. I really wouldn’t recommend it. Update: at fifteen months this is now one of our daughter’s favourite books. She loves repeatedly pointing at the objects and having me name them again and again. She also delights in being tested on her knowledge!

Unexpected load of detail in this developmental book. Great for toddlers, children and also ESOL.
I did not expect the level of detail and information within this book, I bought it thinking it would just have some big shiny images and large words for my toddler daughter, but this has a lot more than that as soon as I opened it. For me as someone caring about my daughters education and development, I welcome it from a resource and longevity standpoint, and value for money. Bright colours, loads of words and images to learn, very easy to navigate. This is an essential resource to reinforce learning about the world and life.

N number of things to learn from this book
This was one of first purchases I made in books for my kid and I am completely satisfied with the quality. Very sharp colors, nice pictures and plenty to learn from this book. I normally avoid buying books which have too much clutter on single page since it makes it difficult for young readers to learn from it, but for this one I rather liked the idea of keeping connected objects together on single page. The book has almost everything Home objects, animals, toys, Vehicles, Parts of body..definitely all part of basic vocabulary for a kid! A must purchase for a keen parent with a eager to learn child!
