I had my eye on another space-saving sub from pioneer (TS-WX710A) for a number if years before I bought this one. I was waiting for a sale or fluctuation in price (using camelcamelcamel.com) to no avail. I decided to go for this one as it is completely hidden whilst providing really nice bass. I went into a few car audio shops and most of them would tell me that this would not be loud enough or suggest something else. I wasn't after a sub that takes up my luggage space or can be heard a few streets away. Don't get me wrong. I'm a producer and listen to my music louder than most. But I was after a nice balanced sound that I am used to hearing on my professional monitors in the studio. And this sub did just that. I love it! I would even consider buying this sub even if it didn't tuck away under my boot in my spare wheel compartment - which to me is a massive selling point, but by no means the only one! The wired remote control is great for tweaking the gain, frequency (50hz-125hz) and phase of the sub. If you have a Honda Civic with factory speakers - set your EQ settings: Bass (-5) Treble (-3) and centred. Whack up the volume on your system and sub and enjoy! :) (this is my preference primarily for electronic music) _____________________ Pros -very useful functional remote -aesthetically pleasing -great quality balanced sound -louder than you would expect -hides and secures nicely in a spare wheel compartment -well worth the money Cons -Tricky to install by yourself (this may be the case for most car subs!) _____________________ Installation: I decided to go ahead and try and install this sub myself as the quotes I was getting went from £100 to £150 after mentioning I had a 2008 Honda Civic. I should have taken this as a warning. It was not easy. It included taking lots of things apart to access the head unit and connect the speaker wires, then the power wire from the battery, the ignition cut of switch wire to the fuse box, physically installing the sub and running the cables down the sides. I had a guy from Halfords who was kind enough to give me advice and even let me use his tools! - couldn't have done it without him. Item was bought Jan 2014 for £233.99

Buy with confidence from Car Audio Centre. Fantastic price and quick delivery. I bought this subwoofer for my wifes car and I have to say the performance and sound is amazing. It out performs the Bose system I have in my Audi. It comes with a multitude of fixings to fit all car makes. Installation should cost around 80 pounds professionally or is easy to fit yourself. Even comes with a handy wired remote to adjust levels easily from the drivers seat. I wired mine up direct to the car stereo via RCA leads. Also note you will need to get power from the battery so when installing the only tricky bit is getting through your cars firewall. All in all I would definitely recommend this product, buy one now you won't be disappointed

I’ve added this to the factory stereo in my Mk7.5 Golf estate and Wow! It now sounds like the Dynaudio option they sell for £800. The remote controller is a bonus that allows you to change the bass frequency on the fly as your selection of music changes genre. Wiring it in was simple enough, but the wheel bolt in my car was the fat plastic affair which won’t go through the sub - so I had to remove it (quarter turn and pull it out) and fashion one from the threaded bolts included. No need to buy any adaptors either, as I spliced it directly to the rear speakers behind the head unit. It could have done with a little more power, but that would be childish and it’s adequate enough to provide that extra dimension needed where road noise used to be an issue. Very happy with it overall.

The speaker is very light and seems like a nice design but won't work in a VW Tiguan as it sits too high. The opening on the bottom is not wide enough and will sit too high so had to return.

Absolutely brilliant - fitted in a BMW E46 which has the battery in the boot. Had to cut up the plastic spare tyre cover but the install is completely invisible and the sound fantastic (connected to My Pioneer head unit via RCA connections). Most wiring came with the kit, only had to connect an RCA lead (I soldered it but crimping would work fine). Installed in around 3 hours, including taking the panels and rear seat out and reinstalling. Sound is clear and punchy with really solid bass, you can adjust settings to tailor the amount of bass by a large margin. Highly recommended.

I wanted to have sub, but didn't want to loose luggage space inside trunk. Tested a lof of underseat subs, they are not good either with fixing and installation, either with sound. This one was decided CBS of head unit Pioneer and subs very clever location. A lot of luxury cars having subs in trunk underneath. I was just shocked when connected it - it's just what was needed to have very nice sound. I low down basses on the head unit from all the interior speakers and they started to have clear sound with addition of trunk sub, now I am proud to have such a perfect sound in my Golf mk4.

Great sound, not massively loud but adds nicely and balances out the sound system in my car. Doesn't take up any boot space so a great addition for any car that has a full size spare wheel. The only thing that would make it 5 stars is if it came with a component cable.

Brilliant sub! Very similar sound to some of the pre-installed bose systems, although with a little more power and WAY louder. Sounds brilliant in my fiat punto gp, routing wires through car and behind trim was tiring and copious although worth it in the end! Set my amp crossover to 80hz which takes lots of bass away from the cabin speakers (reducing vibration and rattling panels) and sends it all to the sub. Probably not relevant, but the bass sounds good from the outside too 😂

Non mi aspettavo tanto da un sub cosi piccolo, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere. Anche se non ha fatto miracoli, sono rimasto sbalordito dal salto di qualità che questo piccolissimo subwoofer ha fatto fare al mio impianto di serie, e soprattutto senza diminuire lo spazio nel bagagliaio Il prodotto arriva già con tutti gli accessori necessari per il corretto funzionamento (cavi, spessori, staffe) ed è compatibile con tantissimi modelli di macchine. Se volete aggiungere bassi al vostro ascolto in auto senza perdere parte del bagagliaio ve lo consiglio assolutamente.

Bon caisson de basse, Il manquait ça dans ma voiture. Le seul bémol est que si la plaque qui recouvre la roue de secours touche le caisson tous ce qui se trouve dessus tremble. Un simple petit bricolage pour reausse cette plaque et plus de soucis

Hallo, nach langem hin und her, ob ich mir ein Frontsystem für mein Auto holen soll, oder diesen Sub, habe ich mich für das schöne Teil entschieden. (zur Anmerkung, es ist ein Golf V 3-Türer) Sonntags bestellt, und Dienstags lag das Teil bei mir schon im Zimmer =) Also er ist wirklich klein, habe Ihn in einem 15 Zoll Reifen drinne und da is noch links und rechts dicke Platz. Installation ist Kinderleicht, da Kabel dabei sind, für verschidene Anschlussmöglichkeiten( an AMP oder direkt). Da ich ein Pioneer Radio habe, hat das grad gepasst. Nur Kabel ziehen, die 2 Stecker in de Sub (Fernbedienung und Steuerung), Batterie, Masse und Remote un fertig !! Da ich den Sub "nur" als Bassunterstützung haben wollte, ist er für mich perfekt. Er ist klein, er hört sich super an, und man kann Ihn, dank der Fernbedieunung, sehr gut regeln. Also habt keine Angst, dass man Ihn "nicht hört", er ist wirklich sehr sehr laut, und man hat richtig abartigen Druck ! Bei mir wackeln die Spiegel überall, es ist wikrlich Toll. Positiv: Er ist klein, laut kompakt. Kein zusätzlicher AMP etc. Viele Kabel dabei. Negativ: Die Anleitung nicht wirklich sehr "verständlich". Da es digital verstärkt wird, hat man nicht einen "lebenden" Sound sondern "nur Bum Bum". Aber für Leute die Ihren Platz behalten wollen und keinen Stress wegen Verstärker etc. haben wollen, und zufällig noch ein Ersatzrad übrig haben, ist dieser AMP perfekt, er ist sein Geld wert !!! Este subwoofer es ideal para complementar y aportar profundidad de bajos al equipo de sonido estándar del vehículo sin sacrificar espacio en el maletero. Lo compré para sustituir el subwoofer de serie de mi coche (el cual sonaba penoso). La instalación es muy sencilla, además incluye infinidad de accesorios para múltiples escenarios de instalación. Respecto al producto en si, se ve robusto y con acabados de calidad. La calidad de los graves es muy buena, no produce distorsión alguna a medio-alto volumen. Una vez instalado, se complementa muy bien, sonando todo el conjunto con una calidad exquisita. Como dicen en algún comentario, si lo que quieres es que tiemblen las chapas del coche, ser el centro de atención del parking de la discoteca, o simplemente que te sangren los tímpanos, búscate un car audio profesional. En mi caso, que conduzco la mayoría de veces a volumen normal y alguna que otra canción con volumen alto es mas que suficiente. Una vez instalado es recomendable buscar el "punto dulce" del subwoofer que es la orientación en la que todas las frecuencias resuenan con mas claridad y nitidez, en mi caso colocandolo boca abajo.

Dieses gerät lässt sich mit dem beigefügten zubehör (halterungen,Distanzpäckchen usw...) Perfekt in das reserverad verbauen . 4 sterne nur deshalb weil man den bass wirklich hörbar nur von hinten bekommt aber dafür kann ja das gerät nix. Im grossen und ganzen eine tolle anschaffung für den preis und macht guten bass für diese grösse ;)
