**Q: Hi does this have diamonds on both sides and edges**
A: The sharpener is diamond coated steel. The instructions are to use the flat side and the edges to sharpen your blade.

**Q: Should I use water when sharpening ?**
A: I do not  use water but I do clean the blades I am sharpening otherwise the residue from the plants clogs the sharpening tool.

**Q: What are the dimensions: overall length and, width at tip and width at middle (widest)?**
A: Length 11cm, width at middle 2cm, width at end  7 cm. I find it very effective and easy to use.

**Q: can this item be used to sharpen a billhook?**
A: I've used the sharpener to sharpen various other blades, so yes it can be used to sharpen other tools.  But nb. it is quite small, so I'm not sure if you'd want to use it to sharpen a large blade.  The sharpener is only 11cm long by 2cm wide and is flat, so a large blade may require a larger sharpener (not sure how large a billhook is).  The dimensions given under product details for the sharpener I think relate to the package as they give much larger dimensions - but the actual sharpener itself is only 11cm x 2cm and flat.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very good tool if used correctly

It’s a very handy size to use on kitchen knives and garden tools. My knives had got very dull, and this has saved them. However, don’t think you can use this on blunt tools like the YouTube videos, which show you using just a few light circular movements for 10 seconds. That is for keeping sharp tools sharp. Using this on a blunt tool needs a bit of force, held at 30 degrees, ‘filing’ away and getting the sharp edge back, working on both sides. Then lightly finishing off both sides, to remove burrs. Both sides are 600 grit, plus you can use the edges as well. It took a few minutes per knife; however, they are now really sharp again. I’ll shortly be using this on the secateurs and I expect the same success. So use this carefully and you won’t be disappointed, just remember to then keep up the maintenance sharpening with a few light strokes on the blade after each use.
