Good recipes - easy to make
I bought the kindle version of this book. I have not made any of the recipes yet, but there are some very nice sounding recipes. They are well explained and seem easy to make. Even for a useless cook like me. I usually only use my microwave for reheating food or cooking expensive microwave ready meals. I am looking forward to trying the recipes and it's nice that they are one person size. Hopefully this will help me eat more healthy.

Useful techniques/advice, limited recipes
I bought this because we have to rely on our microwave while replacing the kitchen. The techniques described are very useful so that you can adapt it to what you like to eat. The explanations of how microwaves work are also helpful to make the most of the cooking process. However, I found the range of recipes somewhat disappointing. Some of them are quite old-fashioned or not particularly to my taste (three recipes for livers, for example). If i had had better sense from the table of contents of the kinds of recipes in this book, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I'm unlikely to use the microwave intensively after the building work is finished but I can see that this book is very useful for someone who has to rely on a microwave and still wants to eat varied food.

Out of date - 600w MW?
Although the recipes looked interesting I found it difficult to adjust cooking times for a 900w machine.

Useful Little Book with Some Good Ideas.
There are some useful recipes and ideas in this little book. The one which surprised me was the one for a risotto which was turned out very well with a few mods to cater for my tastes. The ones for prawns in tomato sauce with pasta and a tuna stir fry also turned out well. One quibble is that a few recipes suggest using browning dishes. These are almost impossible to buy new these days other than a few cheap and nasty products on Amazon. The older ones made from ceramic sometimes turn up on E-Bay if you want to buy secondhand cookware

Good range of dishes to choose.
Just what you need for basic ideas and not bothered about the glitz presentation.

Oink. Seriously, this is a great resource for students, travelers and anyone who sometimes eats alone. After all, the microwave is the most efficient cooking equipment in most kitchens. And the recipes are easy and delicious.

It's been a very long time since I have come across a paperback in newsprint! This will not survive service in the kitchen - one drop of water or oil and its gone!

This book is difficult for an American to understand. I have no idea what some of the terms mean. I have lived in several States and traveled a great deal. Still this book is difficult for me to understand.
