## Description

VACANTSPACE Vacant or in-Use Bathroom Indicator Privacy Handle Lock with Extra Large Window, Commercial ANSI Grade 2, for All Women Men Restrooms, Stainless Steel - desertcart.com

Review: Great - Great
Review: Love our knew knob! - 10.14.2023 - We installed this a few months ago. This is a high quality lock. When you lock the door, it's feels like a solid clunk and has the feel that it will last a long time. This is on a auto repair shop bathroom for our techs so it gets use ALL DAY LONG. Now I can see if someone is in the bathroom - even from across the shop, 40-50 feet away. This saves me time from walking across the shop and checking the door. So far zero issues. I will update this post if anything changes. If there is no updated, it's still working.

## Features

- GREEN MEANS GOOD TO GO! The colorful sign displays VACANT or IN-USE indicating a vacant or occupied bathroom. The oversized indicator can be seen from more than 50 feet away, removing any guesswork or awkward handle jiggles on a locked restroom door. Great for privacy and crowd control for your residential or commercial property restrooms.
- RED MEANS DO NOT DISTURB! Gives your customers, clients, employees peaceful comfort while visiting the restroom. Perfect for any office, warehouse, bar/pub or professional building public restroom where your customers can remain undisturbed while visiting your establishment. When turned, the large thumb turn lock controls the indicator wheel.
- For Most Standard Doors & Easy Installation: Drop-in installation on most doors 1 3/8” to 2” thick, and includes an adjustable backset latch for either 60mm or 70mm pre-drilled knob holes. Lever can be rotated to fit left or right handed and any door orientation easily. The vibrant Indicator wheel is designed to resist peeling, setting it apart from substandard sticker types.

All interior and exterior surfaces are constructed of stainless steel which is impervious to grime, dirt, moisture or grease. Maintain and clean easily with simply soap and water. Meets or exceeds any residential, apartment or commercial requirements.
- Exterior Handle Anti-Lockout Safety Feature: A notch on the exterior lever can unlock the bathroom from the outside using a coin or flat head screwdriver prevents accidental lock-ins.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used for a right sided door opening?**
A: Thank you for this question. Please watch this video from 10 seconds on to see how easy it is to rotate the lever from the default right handed to left handed orientation.

If there are more questions, please do ask us, as we are always standing by to answer them!

**Q: It seems very hard to turn lock, is this normal or did I receive a malfunction lock?**
A: We would like to express our gratitude for choosing the VACANTSPACE bathroom privacy indicator lock. We have full confidence in the craftsmanship of our VACANTSPACE privacy lock and back it up with our replacement guarantee. The operation of the thumbturn should be effortless when properly installed. However, there are two situations where you may encounter difficulty with the thumbturn.

The first scenario is when the mounting plate is not perfectly centered within the door knob hole. Additionally, excessive tightening of the mounting plate can also lead to this issue. To resolve this, we recommend loosening the two mounting screws by one or two full turns, repositioning the lock plates and latch mechanism to ensure proper alignment, and then tightening the screws by hand, ensuring not to overtighten them.

If the problem persists despite these adjustments, please remember that our product is covered by a one-year warranty. Don't hesitate to reach out to us through Amazon support, and we will initiate the warranty process to address your concerns promptly.
