Excellent Card though please note the warning with some Manufacturers in my review..
I aim to leave here a very positive review about the card itself and a buyer warning if you will. The card is a 3rd Generation Intel AC-8260 Card which gives up to 867Mbps connection speed and comes in the form of a very compact low form factor M.2 Half mini card as opposed to the Intel AC-7260 which is a Half Mini PCI Express card. On the surface the 2 cards perform the same however the 8260 has a low powered Bluetooth 4.2 Module built in and as I already own an AC-7260 card in another laptop I have been able to perform some basic tests and can say that this 8260 card performs well and in my opinion is more reliable and seems to handle multiple streaming better even though the card is not MU-MIMO. The card uses the same PROSet/Wireless drivers as it's predecessors however this card uses specific Bluetooth drivers obtained on the intel website. The driver to look for is the one that says (SfP) as this card has Bluetooth 4.2. Non SfP drivers will work though I can't guarantee that all the features will be available. Lastly this card is not compatible with Mini PCI Express slots or the antennas so double check you have the right slot for the card. This card is suitable for most modern laptops in the last year and would be found in the low form factor laptops and ultra books. I bought this for my Acer Aspire R3-131T and it has some slight compatibility issues: While the Acer doesn't use any form of BIOS locking to prevent you from using this card there does however seem to be some BIOS incompatibilities. When you install the card and boot in to windows the Bluetooth Module of the card is detected however the Wireless module is not (I must add here that this card is not like the Mini PCI Express cards where you can simply cover PIN 20 to get this to work) To get the card working fully, you need to restart the system, press F2 to enter the BIOS and then F9 to load default setup and then F10 to save and exit (The card will then work flawlessly however, when you power off the system and power on again you need to re-enter the BIOS and follow the steps above to get it working once more) I have emailed Acer regarding this and should anything positive come out of it then I will update my review. Likewise there could be other manufacturers out there suffering the same issues. I have given this 5* because I am reviewing the card itself, the issues with compatibility are by no means the fault of Intel.

Worthy Upgrade for Dell XPS15 9550.
Purchased this card to install in my Dell XPS15 9550 model. The laptop came with a Broadcom 1830 3x3 card but I found the wireless range to be poor and the Bluetooth had all sorts of issues so after reading many online reviews I chose this one. It only has 2 antennae connections on the card so I had to leave 1 tucked away safely in the laptop. After removing the Broadcom software and installing the Intel drivers it now has a much better wireless range (connects at 867Mbps) and the Bluetooth relaibility is so much better. No more laggy mouse or dropped connections! I would highly recommend this little wireless card for those with the Dell XPS 15 9550.

Product is great!
The packaging could have look more 'protective' other than that fast delivery and product works well. Used for my late 2016 Dell XPS 13, Ubuntu.

Brilliant replacement for a faulty original adapter by a different manufacturer
Replaced a Broadcom 802.11ac adapter that caused no end of trouble. This one fitted in straight away and worked perfectly from the outset. Although I had downloaded a driver before swapping, this picked up the generic driver then, on a reboot, picked up the dedicated driver and has worked superbly since.

Works perfectly in Dell XPS 13 9360, a good replacement for the killer wireless if you want to run Linux (or in general)!
