## Description

In 1981, Schaller developed and got the patent for a totally new category of product, which revolutionized the connection between guitar and strap. With its unique design and functionality, Schaller has been setting the standard in strap locks for decades. We protect your beloved instruments.

Review: Bought several sets now fitted to all my guitars - I've bought several sets of these Schaller Security Strap Locks and now have them fitted to all my guitars. They give me much more confidence when playing because the strap stays securely attached and I don't have to worry about it accidentally coming off. They are well made, reliable and do exactly what they are supposed to do. One of the best features is how easy it is to remove and attach the strap. Being able to quickly take the strap off for transporting the guitar in a case, or swap straps between guitars, is incredibly convenient. The chrome finish looks great and they have held up well with regular use. The only thing worth mentioning is that it's a good idea to occasionally check the small screws on the strap buttons, as they can loosen over time. A simple but worthwhile upgrade for any guitarist. I have bought multiple sets and would definitely buy them again.
Review: Perfect fit for Epiphone Les Paul Slash Edition and Levy’s MSS1 Strap - Great value for money and fitted in 5 minutes. My Epiphone Les Paul slash edition came with strap locks that were not threaded long enough to fit on my Levy’s MSS1 strap. These threads are a perfect length as you can see from the picture and much easier to fit than the Epiphone OEM versions. I like that they don’t protrude too far when fitted either. Quality is on par with the Epiphone strap locks, if not slightly better. The strap attach and release mechanism is far easier and more intuitive on the Schallers. The button screws are a direct swap. The screw is only slightly wider but required NO DRILLING and went in easy and snugly. Lengths were the same length as the Epiphone screws. I was concerned about the use of a 3mm hex screw type rather than Phillips, however the button hex screw hole is several mm deep and so there is no risk of it slipping out and rounding off the screw hole. On balance, this is much better than a standard Phillips head screw. I would recommend using a screw driver with a hex attachment though rather than your standard 3mm hex key. If you have an Epiphone Les Paul, do not hesitate to buy this product. You will NOT regret it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Schaller Straplocks Chrome
*by H***S on 5 April 2013*

These will give you all the confidence you will need for your guitar, not dropping to the floor that is, it wont improve your playing ability. The straplocks are well made and do work well. Unfortunately I have found with my strap, the part that you fasten to it, the thread is just a little too short to be able to use them, my strap being hand made and is a lot thicker than the standard ones, but these are great for any standard strap and they also come with 2 shorter screws and 2 longer screws for fitting to the body's of guitars where thicker screws have been used. A great product that I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their prized guitar safe from hitting the deck.
